US pop star Chappell Roan teases Australian tour plans at MTV Video Music Awards in New York: ‘We’re coming!’
As a dedicated fan of Chappell Roan, I can hardly contain my excitement about her upcoming Australian tour! Ever since I discovered her music last year, she has become an integral part of my daily playlists and emotional soundtrack. Her raw talent, captivating voice, and relatable lyrics resonate deeply with me, making her one of the few artists whose work truly speaks to my soul.
At the recent MTV Video Music Awards held in New York City, American pop sensation Chappell Roan hinted at a future Australian tour.
At the event, the 26-year-old artist formerly known as Kayleigh Amstutz shared an exhilarating announcement with radio host Kent ‘Smallzy’ Small.
Smallzy expressed his affection for Australia towards you and inquired if there were any plans scheduled? To this, you shared that you’re actually arranging a trip down under at the moment.
‘Oh yes darling, I know Australia love me, I love Australia,’ Chappell began.
‘I’m going to come, we’re coming! I’m planning.’
Chappell’s music resonates deeply with Australian listeners, and at present, she boasts two songs on the ARIA charts. Furthermore, her first album, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, climbed to the top five positions earlier in the year.
Many of her Australian fans felt let down when they discovered that the pop star had visited their country the previous year without them knowing.
This year, the popularity of the singer-songwriter has been on a steep incline, yet back in November 2023, she was not widely recognized when she came to visit Australia (Down Under).

More recently, TikTok user @taliaontourr posted a brief clip showcasing Roan’s performance at Liberty Hall in Sydney last year.
‘The most magical concert ever,’ the TikTokker captioned her video.
Shortly thereafter, a wave of Roan’s admirers flooded the comment section to share their surprise and dismay at having missed the sight of their beloved pop star.
‘Sydney? Like Australia?’ wrote one fan, to which another replied, ‘Yes, last November.’
One follower lamented, “If only I had known about that earlier,” and another expressed regret, “I’m green with envy for not having found her sooner.
One fan lamented, “Why do I consistently arrive late and miss out on the best artists before they become famous? What’s the secret?
Additionally, another admirer of Roan quipped humorously, saying, “I didn’t have the funds to attend and responded with ‘next time’. Now, it feels as if getting a ticket for her return will be similar to the fierce competition in the Hunger Games.
