Movie fans who love Marvel are eagerly awaiting the release of the new film. Now, they’ve gotten their first look at Spider-Man‘s costume for the upcoming movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Photos of new Funko Pop figures based on the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day movie have been posted online. The figures give us another glimpse at the movie and showcase two different Spider-Man costumes. One is the suit from Spider-Man: No Way Home, which now appears to be coming back in the new film, and the other is a completely new design.
The new Spider-Man collectible figure features a suit that looks like it’s been through a fight. It’s unknown if this damaged suit represents an earlier version Peter Parker wears in the movie, or if it shows what the suit will look like after the climactic battle.
Spider-Man: Brand New Days Begins a New Era for the MCU
As the name indicates, Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks a fresh beginning for the character. After the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, everyone – including the Avengers and Peter Parker’s friends – has forgotten about Spider-Man and Peter’s secret identity. This leaves Peter feeling isolated and overwhelmed by his responsibilities. The movie’s trailer suggests a style reminiscent of Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man films, rather than the previous MCU Spider-Man movies.
As a big Marvel fan, I was excited to see Destin Daniel Cretton – the director of Shang-Chi – take on Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The script was handled by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, and of course, Tom Holland is back as Peter Parker, our favorite Spider-Man. It’s great to see Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, and Jon back too, and they’ve added some new faces like Tramell Tillman and Michael Mando. Plus, Mark Ruffalo is returning as the Hulk, which is always a win!
Spider-Man: Brand New Day May Be the Best MCU Spider-Man Movie Yet
As if fans weren’t already excited enough about Spider-Man: Brand New Day, .
Tom Holland expressed how proud he is of the new movie on Instagram. While admitting he might be biased, he called it his favorite so far, praising the performances of Jon Bernthal, Zendaya, and Jacob Batalon, as well as the entire cast. He’s excited to share it with everyone.
He believes the film will be a truly surprising and excellent movie, calling it an incredible Spider-Man installment and praising Destin’s work as tremendous.
Moviegoers won’t have to wait much longer to see the latest Spider-Man film and decide what they think. Spider-Man: Brand New Day arrives in North American theaters on July 31st.
