Clash of Clans is introducing a unique event called Clash vs Skeletons in May 2026. It’s a community-wide battle where players choose a side and work together to defeat a skeleton invasion by earning stars. As a bonus, players can earn free chests, a free Legendary Hero Skin, and a free scenery item. Here are all the details.

Overview

The Clash vs Skeleton event is happening from May 4th to May 18th, 2026, giving you about two weeks to participate. When you join, you’ll pick either Team Jade or Team Amethyst. This choice determines which side you’re on in the event and unlocks a special decoration showing your team allegiance.

The event takes place on a big map where players on both teams work together to clear tiles, fight off skeletons, and earn rewards. The ultimate goal is to team up and destroy the main skeleton base located in the center of the map.

Event Map and How to Progress

This mode revolves around the event map. To unlock each section of the map, your team needs to earn a specific number of stars. Some sections just let you continue, while others give you rewards or contain hidden surprises within mystery tiles.

You advance by collecting stars during multiplayer battles. Each star earned from successful attacks can be given to the event map. A three-star attack lets you contribute three stars. You can donate these stars right away, or save them to use when the map changes and you need them most.

Teams compete on a map, starting on opposite sides, and try to claim tiles by adding stars. Some tiles offer instant rewards, while others reveal them once captured. Every 12 hours, skeletons will attempt to take back the tiles.

Once you reach the center, you’ll face the final challenge: a powerful skeleton base that takes a lot of stars to destroy. Both teams work together on this last part, meaning you can still help win even if your team is losing.

Rewards

This event gives you both personal benefits and helps the community. The best reward is a free Legendary Barbarian King Hero Skin, and you can earn it by donating 200 stars during the event.

As a player, I love that once we finally take down the big boss skeleton, everyone who helped out gets a free Classic Skeleton decoration for their profile! It’s awesome that even a little bit of effort gets rewarded. And the event map itself is full of goodies – we can find magic items and even secret rewards as our team makes progress. It really encourages us to work together and explore!
