A huge collaboration has arrived! The recent eFootball CONNECT episode hinted at something exciting before the v5.4.0 update, but this is even more unexpected. Konami’s next major crossover for eFootball 2026 is embracing anime once more, and this time, it’s with Naruto.

The game’s icon and how it looks in the app have been changed to reflect a collaboration between eFootball and Naruto. A key feature of this update is Neymar, who now appears styled after characters from the Naruto series.

Konami has a history of accidentally releasing updates early, and this has happened before. We saw a similar situation with the 5.4.0 update, where content appeared on some platforms before it was officially announced. However, mobile players weren’t included in that early release, and that’s true again this time.

People are already excited about the upcoming collaboration, and expect to see new, Naruto-themed Epic cards, special events, and related packs. With the v5.4.1 update just around the corner, it’s likely that’s when all of these features will be released.

This new Naruto collaboration would be similar to past anime events in the game, like the ones featuring Yu-Gi-Oh!, Captain Tsubasa, and Blue Lock. Considering how well the Blue Lock cards were designed and implemented, fans are hopeful Konami will deliver the same high level of quality – and potentially even improve upon it – for this Naruto crossover.

While Konami hasn’t officially announced anything yet, these recently discovered materials suggest an announcement is coming soon. Rumors point to a release around April 30, 2026, so we likely won’t have to wait much longer for confirmation.
