Samantha Womack hints she has split from her Emmerdale boyfriend Oliver Farnworth as she shares racy hot tub snap and says she is ‘alone again’ – before embarrassed son tells her to the delete post

Samantha Womack appeared to hint her relationship with Oliver Farnworth has ended.

The 53-year-old actress shared a revealing photo on Instagram earlier this week, showing her in an outdoor hot tub. She captioned the picture with a mysterious message: ‘Alone again… naturally’.

Adding to rumors that Samantha and Oliver, 43, who plays John Sugden on Emmerdale, have split, Samantha’s EastEnders co-star Roxy Simmons posted a simple message of support: ‘Obv, love you.’

Samantha, known for her role as Ronnie Mitchell on the soap opera before her departure in 2017, simply responded, ‘I’ve got you.’

Samantha received many kind messages, but her son Benjamin playfully teased her, saying, ‘You can still take this down, Mom!’

To which she replied: ‘I was going to say that about all your gym posts… what a coincidence.’

Oliver and Samantha started dating in 2019. They had become close while working together on the stage production of The Girl On The Train that same year.

Samantha began dating someone a year after ending her nineteen-year marriage to Mark. She has two children: Lili-Rose, who is 21, and Benjamin, 25.

Oliver, who played Corrie’s Andy Carver from 2014-2017, and Samantha lived together in Spain.

Following both a breast cancer diagnosis and the loss of her dog, the actress relocated to Spain.

In 2019, Samantha adopted her dog, Lola, from Goa, India. She and her daughter, Lili-Rose, had met Lola during a three-week vacation and instantly connected with her.

The actress shared that Lola’s passing in September 2022 was incredibly difficult, and it truly brought home the seriousness of her own health struggles.

Lola’s death came just a month after the screen star was diagnosed with breast cancer.

After five months, Samantha was given a clean bill of health, but the experience had been very difficult for her. As a result, she decided to relocate to Valencia.

The actress shared with the Sunday Times that the death of a friend occurred on the same day as Queen Elizabeth II’s passing, leaving her heartbroken. She described it as one of the most difficult days she’d ever experienced.

Finding out I had breast cancer was difficult, but losing my dog, Lola, actually felt even harder. It was the moment the reality of everything really hit me.

It was after losing Lola that I decided to prioritize my health and take a break from work. I wouldn’t have returned to Valencia and dedicated a year to recovery if it hadn’t been for her. Losing Lola completely changed the direction of my life.

Samantha was overjoyed to learn her cancer was gone just five months after being diagnosed. She explained that if it had been found even a little later, it could have been fatal.
