Number (N)ine, under Takahiro Miyashita, has released its latest collection, “New Arrivals #3.” This small collection marks Miyashita’s return to the brand and features two T-shirt designs inspired by the late punk musician Tom Verlaine. This continues Number (N)ine’s tradition of incorporating music into its designs, a hallmark of the brand’s success in the early 2000s.
As a long-time TopMob fan, seeing Miyashita back with Number (N)ine feels like way more than just a comeback – it’s like the brand is finally getting its spirit back. He left back in 2009 to do his own thing with TheSoloist., and now, with this 2026 drop, it feels like everything’s come full circle for Japanese fashion. This new collection totally captures that same edgy, new-wave vibe from his iconic collections like “Touch Me I’m Sick” and “The High Streets” – you know, where he perfectly mixed band tees with high-end tailoring.
