Industry insider speculates that Kyle Sandilands will ‘go full MAGA’ as shock jock announces new live show

Someone working in the entertainment business thinks Kyle Sandilands might start publicly supporting far-right political views, similar to those of Donald Trump, on his upcoming show.

On Wednesday, Sandilands surprised his fans with the news that he’s coming back to radio soon.

Media analyst Andrew Mercado believes the radio host might start focusing his content on political issues.

According to Mercado, Kyle may struggle to connect with top celebrities, so he could lean heavily into politically conservative messaging to attract an American audience and maintain his income.

Mercado believes it’s more likely that Sandilands will host a podcast, rather than return to radio.  

‘There is money in this space if you want to court a right-wing audience,’ he said. 

Sandilands considers himself politically right-of-center and has said he’s voted for the Liberal Party in the past.

He additionally called Trump’s 2024 election victory over Kamala Harris as a ‘win for everyone’.

Sandilands didn’t share details about his new project, but photos showed him in a recording studio with a sign that said ‘Kyle Sandilands Live,’ suggesting it may be related to broadcasting.

The radio host then thanked his manager, Bruno Bouchet, for his continued support, even though he hadn’t been compensated for his work.

Sandilands jokingly revealed that Bruno was complimenting his appearance despite not currently being paid to do so. He said, ‘That’s Bruno. He’s paid to say that, well actually he’s not paid at the moment!’ after Bruno told him he was looking well.

Kyle shared that he’s been focusing on his health lately, and he’s started a new diet where he only eats grapes and boiled eggs for breakfast.

An Instagram Reel featured an exclusive message from Kyle, sparking speculation about a possible return to podcasting or radio. Fans are eagerly anticipating what’s next!

Sandilands did not, however, specify when this new project would launch. 

This news follows reports that the radio personality is willing to negotiate a deal with ARN as the dates for his and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson’s court cases approach.

According to a source at news.com.au, Kyle Sandilands wants to settle his dispute quickly and would likely accept a fair offer from his previous workplace.

The source indicated they’d be open to a compromise, saying, ‘If the offer wasn’t completely unfair… then yes, we could consider it.’

He’s a fair person, and he’s willing to fight for what he believes in, but everyone wants to avoid a legal battle.
