The latter part of Scarpetta focuses increasingly on the complicated and often damaging relationships within the family. Dorothy (Jamie Lee Curtis) is truly in love with Pete (Bobby Cannavale) for the first time, but Janet (Janet Montgomery) suggests Pete has always loved Kay, causing Dorothy to question everything. Curtis delivers a powerful performance as Dorothy reaches her emotional limit.

While promoting the upcoming fourth season of Invincible (releasing on Amazon Prime Video March 18th), creator Robert Kirkman discussed the franchise’s future with The Direct. He confirmed they’re considering spin-off projects after the Atom Eve special, but a lack of time is currently the biggest challenge.

Season 2 of NCIS: Origins shows how Gibbs rises to become a Special Agent-in-Charge, culminating in Episode 10. The original NCIS series, which began in 2003, featured Gibbs as a key leader at NCIS headquarters. Essentially, NCIS: Origins Season 2 continues to explore the development of Gibbs’s core strengths and how he became the agent fans know and love.

Rachel Zegler faced criticism for her role in West Side Story, with some questioning whether her Colombian heritage was close enough to Puerto Rican culture for the part. However, the backlash was much stronger when she was cast as Snow White, a traditionally white character. In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Zegler discussed the difference between these two situations, ultimately stating she’s determined not to conform to others’ expectations of how she should portray characters.

I’ve noticed a lot of people are really drawn to Civil War right now, and honestly, I get it. It’s a tough, realistic look at conflict, and it seems like audiences are really responding to that kind of raw storytelling at the moment. I’m not sure why exactly, but it’s definitely capturing people’s attention.

This isn’t the first time the Academy has praised Guillermo del Toro’s unique and often dark adaptations of classic stories. However, despite receiving several Oscar nominations, his film Nightmare Alley has sadly faded from memory and isn’t as widely recognized as some of his other work.

Bob Odenkirk not only starred in, but also helped create, the action-comedy series from Derek Kolstad, the creator of John Wick. He plays Hutch Mansell, a seemingly ordinary family man with a hidden past as a trained government assassin, which is revealed when he clashes with dangerous criminals. After a four-year break, the series returned in mid-2025 with Nobody 2, which received generally positive reviews and did well at the box office.
