Retired Marine fighter pilot and Top Gun instructor Dave Berke, speaking with ScreenRant before the 40th anniversary of the original film, commended the sequel’s depiction of a carrier launch. He praised its accurate portrayal of the tension, organized chaos, and authentic naval aviation procedures involved. Berke specifically noted that the film’s communication and terminology during the high-pressure sequence were “exactly right.”

Whether you enjoy it or not, the Netflix series Devil May Cry clearly understands who it’s made for. Based on the popular video game series that started in 2001 with the PlayStation 2, this show is just the latest part of a large franchise that also includes games, a brief anime series, and novels. Marvel has given fans a preview of Doctor Strange #6, which will be available on May 13th. The comic will feature the return of Wanda, as well as another familiar face from the Doctor Strange movies – Clea, who appeared in a post-credits scene from Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. For nearly ten years, Disney has been planning a sixth Pirates of the Caribbean movie and hoping to include Johnny Depp. In addition to a planned spinoff starring Margot Robbie and another film focusing on Jack Sparrow’s son, Disney is also creating a new interactive theatrical experience based on the Pirates of the Caribbean films, scheduled for release in 2027.
