Kenneth Branagh wrote and directed Belfast, which premiered in the UK and Ireland in January 2022. Caitríona Balfe and Jamie Dornan play Buddy’s parents, and the story follows nine-year-old Buddy (played by Jude Hill) as he comes of age amidst the conflict known as The Troubles in Belfast.
