My Chemical Romance is celebrating the 15th anniversary of their album, Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, with a special edition release.
This release is a bit delayed – the album actually turned fifteen last November. However, it’s not a surprise, as the band reissued a remixed and remastered version of their debut album, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, on its 21st anniversary last year. It seems they’re repeating that approach this year.
My Chemical Romance released Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys on November 22, 2010. It was their fourth studio album and remains their most recent full-length release. The band has since disbanded and reunited, but they haven’t released a new album yet.
When will My Chemical Romance’s Danger Days Deluxe Edition be released?
The band is largely revisiting their history lately, with anniversary editions and tours focused on their classic album. However, they’ve only released a very small amount of new music in recent years.
My Chemical Romance has released one song since their return, titled “The Foundations of Decay,” which came out on May 12, 2022. They’ve also performed some new, unreleased tracks during their Long Live the Black Parade tour.
A special deluxe edition of the album Danger Days will be available starting July 10, 2026. This version, titled Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys (Deluxe Edition), includes remastered tracks from the original album, plus nine previously unreleased bonus songs and new artwork. These bonus tracks have never been available on physical copies before and will make their debut in this release.
You can also get the deluxe edition through streaming and digital download. Pre-orders for physical copies—including a special zoetrope vinyl, different colored vinyl records, picture disks, CDs with unique artwork, and cassettes—are available now on the My Chemical Romance website. Along with the deluxe edition, new Danger Days merchandise is also being released.
