“Have you said too much?”: Pedro Pascal drops Star Wars ‘spoiler’ ahead of The Mandalorian & Grogu

The Mandalorian & Grogu spoilers follow.

Pedro Pascal may have accidentally revealed a detail about the upcoming Star Wars movie, The Mandalorian & Grogu. He’ll be reprising his role as the Mandalorian in the film, which continues the story from the popular Disney+ series The Mandalorian.

Following the defeat of the Galactic Empire, the series centers on bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his young apprentice, Grogu. Their latest mission involves rescuing Rotta the Hutt – the son of the infamous Jabba the Hutt – from danger.

During an appearance on The One Show, Pedro Pascal discussed speculation about a famous Star Wars family reappearing when the new season of The Mandalorian & Grogu premieres later this month.

“Yes, they do… we talking about the Hutts?” he replied, when asked about the alien species.

Growing up, I was incredibly excited to finally see Return of the Jedi in theaters. I remember being especially thrilled by the introduction of Jabba the Hutt early in the film.

He described the creature as frightening, but also incredibly captivating, leaving a lasting impression.

I love how Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni are making these characters really important – it’s such a creative idea!

So, after I said that, the actor seemed a little worried he’d spilled the beans. Alex Jones, the host, even asked if I’d talked too much, which just made things even more awkward!

Even if Pascal accidentally messed up a line, he played it off with a laugh, saying, “Anything can happen in the world of Star Wars!”

The Mandalorian and Grogu is released in cinemas on 22 May 2026.

The latest issue of Living Legends, a vibrant, full-colour 100-page tribute to Sir David Attenborough, is now available! You can find it at newsstands or purchase it online.
