Oh, darling, CryptoCon (yes, that’s his name, no jokes here) has decided to rain on our Bitcoin parade. Apparently, the bottom isn’t in yet, despite that little jaunt up to $82k. He’s waving around a “bear flag” like it’s the latest must-have accessory, claiming BTC is just retesting the top of the channel before it faceplants. Again. Because, you know, drama.
Bitcoin Bottom? More Like Bitcoin Bottomless Pit of Drama
In a post that’s basically the crypto equivalent of a soap opera cliffhanger, CryptoCon declared Bitcoin is headed south. Again. Because bear flags are so last season, but apparently they’re still in vogue for 86 days straight. And let’s not forget the seven bear flags since November 2021-because who doesn’t love a good pattern repeat? He says this is the moment everyone starts whispering, “Is the bottom in?” Spoiler: He says no. Because, of course.
According to our chart-obsessed friend, bear flags love a good second retest before they break downward. So, here we are, living through the crypto version of Groundhog Day. Will BTC break? Will it bounce? Will anyone stop talking about flags? Stay tuned!
CryptoCon also mentioned he’s just “supporting the bear cycle to play out in full,” which sounds like he’s auditioning for a role in a financial tragedy. Fear and Greed are back to neutral, he says, because apparently they’re as predictable as a Bridget Jones diary entry. And the short-term cycle? Oh, it’s just repeating itself. Down, balance, neutral, bullish-rinse and repeat. It’s like a bad rom-com, but with more charts.
BTC: The Bull Trap That Keeps on Giving
Enter Doctor Profit (yes, really), the analyst who called last year’s Bitcoin top. He’s now claiming we’re in the final act of the bull trap before BTC plunges to new lows. Because why have one drama when you can have two? He’s planning to long until $83k-$85k, then short it like it’s hot. His prediction? BTC will drop to $50k by year-end. Because nothing says “happy holidays” like a crypto crash.
At the time of writing, Bitcoin is lounging around $80,900, down in the last 24 hours. Because even Bitcoin needs a day off from all this excitement. Or maybe it’s just sulking.
