Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is adding some fun new events to its Allstar Calendar this May! A brand-new arcade mode called “Tide Siege” is now available. It’s a cooperative battle for teams of three where you fight waves of enemies. Let’s take a closer look at the details and how to succeed in this exciting new mode.

Mobile Legends Tide Siege Mode Overview

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang’s Siege Mode introduces a fast-paced, team-based experience for three players. You and your two allies work together to protect a three-lane map from waves of strong monsters and enemy units. This mode features two distinct types of gameplay, each offering a unique challenge.

  • Standard Mode: This mode is currently available, letting you battle 18 different waves of powerful enemies.
  • Endless Mode: This mode will be available starting from May 8th, with endless hordes of enemies. There will be a special leaderboard chart ranking your performance and survivability in this mode.

Because enemy units are especially strong in Siege Mode, you can equip your heroes with special abilities called Talents. These Talents significantly improve your heroes’ stats and make them more powerful.

Mobile Legends Tide Siege Mode: Team Comps and Strategy Tips

Tide Siege currently only lets you use 10 heroes, so building a team with both strong defenders (Frontline) and area-of-effect damage is key. Heroes like Vexana are particularly valuable because her first skill quickly eliminates large groups of enemies, making her a top choice for this mode.

Vexana’s ultimate skill brings in a durable Guardian, giving you and your team valuable extra time during tough fights with Wave Bosses. Other strong heroes to consider for building a team in this mode include Hanabi, Balmond, Gord, and Belerick.

Strategic Tips to note while playing MLBB’s Tide Siege mode

  • Since the Tide Siege mode offers a 3-lane map, you and your allies should guard and protect one lane each. On successfully clearing your lane, ensure to rotate across lanes to help allies.
  • When you kill an enemy monster, it will drop valuable items. These items grant gold and extra buff effects, including an increase to Max HP and damage output. Therefore, ensure to claim all dropped items.
  • When using ranged heroes like Vexana, Hanabi, or Gord, ensure you engage enemies right from the beginning of their spawn portal. This will make it easier to take them down, rather than turning the front of your turret or base into the main battle spot.
  • Be careful of Elite Bosses that spawn every 6 levels. These bosses possess powerful abilities and effects, making it hard for you and your allies to stop them. Personally, Bane is the hardest Boss to deal with as his enhanced skill 2 can one-shot any backline.
  • You and your allies should mark and focus on the Elit bosses while trying to avoid their powerful high-damage abilities. Therefore, ensure to follow up with your Frontline.
  • On defeating an Enhanced Boss, you will be given a Passive Skill Card, greatly boosting your abilities, stats, and overall damage output.
  • After each match, ensure to upgrade your talents with your accumulated Tide Shells. These Tide Shells are given to you based on how many levels you complete in each match.
