The Wales Bonner x adidas Y-3 The Field Lizzard sneakers will be released on May 13th. They come in a Cream White, Dark Brown, and Core Black color scheme and have the SKU KI6114. Pricing is yet to be announced, but they will be available through adidas.

Building on the success of her snakeskin-inspired Predator 26 shoe, Wales Bonner is continuing to experiment with reptile textures. Her newest design, the Field Lizzard sneaker, was created in collaboration with both adidas and Yohji Yamamoto’s Y-3 brand. This shoe is meant to be a more upscale and fashion-focused addition to her line, blending classic athletic styles with Y-3’s cutting-edge design, and offering a stylish take on traditional sports footwear.

The shoe’s upper features a dark brown, lizard-skin like texture, highlighted by black leather stripes that extend from the toe to the laces, creating a defined and layered look. The black leather tongue, with its prominent stitching, is reminiscent of traditional soccer boots and emphasizes the shoe’s handcrafted quality. A striped lining – a signature detail from the designer – adds a subtle pop of color visible around the insole, showcasing the blend of texture, classic style, and unique design.
