Don’t miss the dramatic first trailer for Kelly Reilly’s highly-anticipated Yellowstone spin-off

Paramount+ has just released a trailer for the new Yellowstone spin-off, Dutton Ranch. The series focuses on Beth Dutton, played by Kelly Reilly, and follows her as she moves to Texas and gets involved in a conflict with a competing ranch. It’s set to premiere later this month.

Created by Taylor Sheridan and led by showrunner Chad Feehan, Dutton Ranch follows Beth and Rip (Cole Hauser) as they relocate to South Texas to build a life and raise their son, Carter (Finn Little). Their dream of growing their new ranch is challenged by powerful and competitive neighbors, including the formidable Beulah Jackson (Annette Bening) and Everett McKinney (Ed Harris).

The latest preview hints at a challenging journey for Beth and Rip as they try to create a life away from the painful memories of Yellowstone. They’ll face harsh new obstacles and a powerful, unforgiving ranch determined to maintain its control.

The new trailer hints at a violent journey ahead for the characters, leading them to Texas. Beth says their hope for peace will be delayed, and the clip shows Rip preparing a secret burial site – a familiar sign from the show Yellowstone – making it clear that achieving the calm they desire will come with a heavy price.

Joining the cast of the new Yellowstone spin-off are Juan Pablo Raba, Jai Courtney, JR Villarreal, Marc Menchaca, and Natalie Alyn Lind. Country singer Morgan Wade will also appear in a recurring role.

In a recent conversation with Digital Spy, actor Reilly shared that the upcoming series, Dutton Ranch, will be noticeably different from Yellowstone.

The actor said in January that while Yellowstone was a fantastic, self-contained show, the new project is very different, and they are really looking forward to it.

Following the March premiere of Marshals, which centered on Kayce Dutton, Dutton Ranch is the second spin-off series from Yellowstone to be released this year. Starring Luke Grimes reprising his role, the show has already been picked up for another season.

The Yellowstone universe is expanding with two new shows, titled 1944 and 6666. These additions will bring the total number of shows in the Duttonverse to seven, including the original Yellowstone.

Dutton Ranch will debut on Paramount+ on May 15th with the first two episodes available immediately. New episodes will then be released each week until July 3rd.
