I was so excited to see that Lawless, the Tom Hardy gangster movie from 2012, is now available on a free streaming service! It’s a really great film, written by Nick Cave and directed by John Hillcoat. It’s about these three brothers who are making moonshine during Prohibition and getting targeted by a crooked lawman who wants them to pay up – or shut down. It’s a wild ride!

Tom Hardy plays Forrest Bondurant, who leads a thriving, underground moonshine operation with his brothers from their gas station in rural Virginia.

Guy Pearce plays Charley Rakes, a US Marshal who uses his new position to try and shake down bootleggers for money. When Forrest refuses to pay, Rakes begins a brutal conflict with Forrest and his family.
