Wolf Alice is a fantastic band that doesn’t get enough attention in North and South America. They gave a great performance on the British show Saturday Night Live UK, which has featured some really impressive musical guests, but many American viewers likely missed it.
Since 2015, the band has released four albums that have all been hugely successful in the UK, reaching either the No. 1 or No. 2 spot on the charts. However, they haven’t achieved the same level of recognition in the US, peaking at only No. 90 on the Billboard charts. This isn’t due to the quality of their indie-rock music, but rather the challenges faced by bands like Wolf Alice when trying to gain popularity in the American market.
Wolf Alice will be expanding its audience starting in late September by joining Olivia Rodrigo as the opening act on her upcoming tour. While the tour is scheduled to continue into 2027, Wolf Alice will perform at the beginning of the run.
