Summary

  • Naoya Hida & Co. unveils its 2026 collection featuring ten new watch models
  • Seven new designs debut, including the brand’s first porcelain dial and a 31mm watch
  • Online sales open on May 18 through the brand’s official website

In 2026, NAOYA HIDA & Co. will release a collection of 10 watches, featuring seven brand new designs and three popular models from last year. Staying true to their approach of continuous improvement, the Tokyo-based watchmaker is introducing refined updates, like the NH TYPE1E – the latest version of their original watch, now with a smaller 36mm case and curved sapphire crystal. Also new is the NH TYPE2C‑2, which boasts the brand’s first porcelain dial, hand-painted to evoke the style of 19th-century art within a classic mid-century design.

This collection showcases artistic skill with pieces like the NH TYPE3B‑4, an 18k yellow gold moonphase watch intricately hand-engraved in the Art Nouveau style and featuring gold-leaf Arabic numerals. The NH TYPE5B and TYPE5B‑1, on the other hand, build on the brand’s classic rectangular case, offering slight size adjustments and the choice of a vintage-style acrylic crystal. These models demonstrate how even small changes to a design can significantly impact its overall look and feel. Finally, the NH TYPE7A combines a classic vintage Valjoux 23(236) chronograph movement with a modern case and hand-engraved markers, blending historical watchmaking with contemporary techniques.

Rounding out the collection, the NH TYPE8A is a small, 31mm dress watch with a new Cal. 2326SS movement. It’s built with a three-part case, a curved sapphire crystal, and a transparent back, reflecting Naoya Hida’s idea of the perfect small watch. The brand continues its focus on limited production and careful craftsmanship, with models ranging from just two pieces (the engraved TYPE3B-4) to around 25 (the TYPE1E).

These watches will be available for purchase on the brand’s website for a limited time, from May 18th at 10 a.m. JST to May 21, 2026. Because they are crafted with meticulous detail, quantities are very limited – ranging from just two of the most intricate models to around 25 of the standard ones. Visit the brand’s website for complete information.
