Sinitta offered her thoughts on her time in the South African jungle, releasing a statement alongside Jimmy Bullard and David Haye on Sunday.
Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe what happened on the All Stars final! It was already a mess with all the drama between Adam, Jimmy, and David – seriously, the constant fighting was exhausting – but Saturday night? Total chaos! It just completely fell apart live on air. I couldn’t even watch, it was so bad! Honestly, the whole series has been one big rollercoaster of arguments and negativity, and the final was just the peak of it all.
Let me tell you, things got heated on ‘I’m a Celebrity’! Adam, who ultimately won the show, had a really tough moment after a disagreement with Jimmy during a trial. Apparently, things escalated, and Adam used some incredibly harsh language – reports say he called Jimmy a really offensive name. This put Adam’s place on the show in serious jeopardy, and he had to work hard to rebuild after that. It just goes to show, even winners face challenges!
Things got very tense when Jimmy asked the campmates if Adam was acting aggressively or abusively, causing Gemma Collins and Sinitta to walk off stage.
Sinitta has released a new statement acknowledging that calling someone a ‘bully’ is a serious claim. However, she also expressed her happiness that Adam was ultimately the winner.
In a recent post, she expressed her disappointment with how the conversation unfolded the previous night. She felt that everyone didn’t have a fair opportunity to share their thoughts, which led to a chaotic and rushed atmosphere. Before leaving, she had just one thing she wanted to say:
It upsets me that people are calling each other names and that things have become strained between us. I really enjoyed spending time with everyone, even though we had one tough moment, and I hope we can all remember the valuable lessons we learned and the amazing experience we shared. I care about them all very much.
I think calling someone a ‘bully’ is a really serious claim, and shouldn’t be said casually. There’s enough negativity in the world, and it’s harmful to falsely accuse someone of being a bully when they’re not.
I appreciated Adam’s apology – it showed a lot of maturity. It’s easy to misinterpret friendships and playful teasing when you’re not involved, so I just ask people to try and understand all perspectives.
I want to be clear: I don’t bully anyone either. Lately, I’ve been getting a lot of harsh and abusive messages online. I get that people are enthusiastic about the show and want to support who they like, and I respect that, but it’s not okay to use abusive language or name-call. I would never do that to anyone else.
Just because you call me ‘Grandma’ doesn’t mean you can be disrespectful. Would you talk to your actual grandmother like that? Where’s the kindness and respect? Social media shouldn’t be a place to find someone to attack, and then have everyone pile on.
She shared that being on the show was an incredible, life-changing experience. She also mentioned that when she began her career, social media didn’t exist, so navigating this aspect of the experience has been new for her.
People have called me names – said I lack talent, am unattractive, or that my time has passed – but those criticisms aren’t accurate, and actually, saying things like that is a form of bullying. I just ask that when you watch my older videos, you remember they reflect my views at that time. It’s natural for opinions to change, especially after being on the show, but my core beliefs remain the same.
I care about everyone involved, and I’m grateful for all the dedication and support. Our shared adventure is over, but we made it through the challenges of the African jungle together. Now, Adam Thomas is our new leader, and I genuinely hope he succeeds – I always have.
‘I’m just learning how to cope with this side of things. S x.’
Sinitta recently shared details about Adam’s dramatic outburst on “I’m A Celebrity,” and believes the show’s producers should have intervened earlier.
Sinitta claimed the entire ordeal went on for nearly an hour in front of shocked fellow stars.
She described the experience as deeply upsetting and disturbing, noting it was intensely aggressive and caused her visible distress. She felt shaken and repeatedly pleaded for it to stop, questioning why no one was intervening and insisting it was wrong.
I wish they had addressed the issue earlier. I was hoping someone would take action and resolve it quickly.
As a longtime fan, I was really shocked to hear Sinitta say that Jimmy and Adam were basically just abandoned by the show’s team. Apparently, the producers deliberately steered the other celebrities away so they wouldn’t see the argument unfolding – it sounds like they just wanted to contain the drama and protect the other contestants from witnessing it all.
She expressed her worry, saying, “I really hope this doesn’t escalate. If someone throws a punch and gets hurt, we’re all going to feel terrible. Please, everyone, just stop.”
Sinitta told The Sun she voted to keep Adam on the show because she felt bad for him, even after his emotional outburst.
Although she let him stay, the musician said it felt like giving in to a really bad outburst.
The live final descended into chaos prior to a tearful-looking Adam being crowned Jungle Legend.
In a dramatic moment that’s likely to be remembered in television history, Jimmy publicly and angrily claimed the show had unfairly removed parts of the footage during the finale.
During a heated argument on last year’s pre-recorded show, contestant Jimmy strongly accused Adam of being abusive, aggressive, and intimidating. Presenters Ant and Dec were unable to control the situation as the argument escalated.
During a heated argument on ‘I’m a Celebrity,’ Adam reportedly used a highly offensive slur against Jimmy after Jimmy’s performance in a trial put Adam at risk of elimination. Ant and Dec then allowed Jimmy to share his side of the story.
Things got really tense when Gemma Collins and Sinitta walked off set after Jimmy questioned each contestant about whether Adam was acting aggressively or abusively.
After a heated exchange, Ant ended the argument with Jimmy by saying, ‘Let’s just leave it at that and agree to disagree.’
Even though the show is currently successful, the growing tension between the celebrities and the hosts could jeopardize its future.
Jimmy confessed to blaming Adam for the situation that led to a dramatic and shocking end to the trial, ultimately causing a major disagreement.
The retired soccer player explained he left due to private issues and revealed his full salary depended on completing a challenge on ‘I’m A Celebrity’ – specifically, saying the show’s name.
Okay, look, I understand if Adam and everyone else is frustrated with me. I admit I really put him in a tough spot, and I take full responsibility for that. I’ll own up to it.
I absolutely won’t tolerate abusive, aggressive, or intimidating behavior. I simply won’t stand for it.
Jimmy invited Ant and Dec to give their take, and then pointed out that they hadn’t included any of the relevant footage when they presented it themselves.
‘You didn’t show any of the C-bombs, it’s a liberty,’ Jimmy fumed.
Ant argued: ‘The reason we didn’t air the C-bomb is because that is unbroadcastable.
‘I was there and I didn’t think it was intimidating. I was there Jim.’
David, facing claims that he bullied Adam on the show, sided with the former footballer and questioned Ant about why Adam was using offensive language towards Jimmy.
Adam responded to David by telling him to allow the finalists to share their thoughts, and the audience applauded.
Adam stated that he fully accepts responsibility for what happened, and acknowledged that everyone involved was feeling very emotional at the time.
I truly care about Jimmy and feel for him. I’ve apologized to him many times, and I’m listening to his concerns. All I can do now is offer my sincere apologies again.
I didn’t like how I came across, and I’ve never presented myself that way before or since. I’m sorry, Jimmy.
David made a sarcastic comment, but Ant and Dec quickly told him to stop talking over them.
David explained that he prefers to be honest and direct. He believes the situation has been manipulated through editing to portray Adam as a victim and gain public sympathy.
We exchanged playful insults and jokes, though a lot of what they said was removed from the recording. Now, I feel it’s important to share what really happened.
Sinitta abruptly left the stage and angrily told the audience that they didn’t understand what happened. She described the situation as aggressive and abusive, saying she and others were deeply shaken by it.
Gemma, who is a close friend of Adam, then followed as she also left the stage.
Jimmy called out, explaining that even if Adam apologized, aggressive, abusive, or intimidating behavior wasn’t acceptable.
I strongly disagree with your claim that wasn’t aggressive, abusive, or intimidating. You can’t honestly say that. Let’s show everyone the footage and let them judge for themselves – play it now!
Ant and Dec wrapped up: ‘Right, let’s leave it there. We’ll agree to disagree Jim.’
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I was really touched by Adam’s final challenge on Friday’s show – it was tough to watch, and a lot of viewers agreed! Honestly, I’m with Gemma Collins on this one – Adam is such a strong personality and truly deserves the win. He’ll always be a hero in my book!
David clearly wasn’t pleased with the positive attention Adam was getting, and he cut in during the show, questioning Ant and Dec. He asked if Adam should really win, given that he’d twice used a highly offensive slur against Jimmy.
‘Yeah after that challenge I do think I deserve to win,’ Adam proudly replied.
David suggested, “Shouldn’t you ask Jimmy if he feels he earned the win? A lot of relevant footage was actually left on the cutting room floor.”
As Ant and Dec attempted to regain control, Dec assured viewers, ‘We’ll get to this – we’re going to ask Jimmy about it later, and we’ll also address it with you.’
‘There was a lot of stuff that was said that was unbroadcastable [sic],’ Ant confirmed.
During the broadcast footage of their argument, Adam was visibly upset with his co-star, yelling, “Jimmy, are you kidding me? I’m covered in ants in there!”
Jimmy replied: ‘Woah, calm down. That’s pathetic.’
However, Craig and some of his co-stars later said that Adam repeatedly used a highly offensive swear word in footage that wasn’t shown on television.
Craig Charles finished in fourth place, with Harry Redknapp and Mo Farah placing second and third.
Earlier in the show, Adam uncomfortably brushed over his heated argument with Jimmy when he first talked about the situation.
Declan started the live final by jokingly acknowledging that the year had been full of dramatic moments.
Adam finally spoke about the recent camp drama, saying he and the others still had a great time. He expressed gratitude for the memories they all made together, despite everything that happened.
Retired soccer player Jimmy attentively listened to Adam speak after a series of bullying incidents caused problems on this year’s show.
‘It’s not going to kick off, what a shame,’ Ant laughed, unaware of what was to come.
