You can now watch The Murder Line on ITV. The six-episode crime drama was announced in February and is available to stream on ITVX after initially airing on ITV1.
The show boasts a strong cast, featuring Stephen Amell (known from Arrow and Suits: LA) as Officer Henry ‘Hank’ Roland, Hamza Haq from Transplant, and Minnie Driver (Emily in Paris). Driver and Haq play Tommy Hawley, Roland’s childhood friend, and May Ferguson, the head of a powerful and dangerous British crime family, respectively.
The cast also includes Tamara Podemski (known for Outer Range), Kate Corbett (Fargo), Christopher Heyerdahl (Supernatural), and Thomas Craig (Murdoch Mysteries).
In The Murder Line, Roland, played by Arnell, tries to escape his past when he gets caught up in a double murder investigation. He uncovers clues suggesting Hawley (Haq) is the killer, which puts his new life in danger and creates conflict with border patrol officer Erica Ross (Podemski).
When his scheme goes wrong, everything starts to fall apart for him. He finds himself in a perilous situation, facing betrayal from criminals and suspicion from coworkers, all while desperately needed by those he’s trying to protect.
As previously reported by Deadline, the show – called The Borderline in the US and Canada – was originally created for the Canadian streaming service Crave by writer and producer Graeme Stewart.
