I’m A Celeb’s Adam Thomas finally gets to do trial and face his biggest fears – after David Haye branded him ‘professional victim’

Adam Thomas, a contestant on I’m A Celebrity, is tackling his most challenging trial yet. This comes after fellow camper David Haye suggested he had pretended to be ill earlier in the show.

Adam, age 37, is among the final four contestants on the All Stars version of the ITV show, competing with Sir Mo Farah, Craig Charles, and Harry Redknapp.

The show was mostly filmed in South Africa last September, but the winner will be revealed in a live finale broadcast in the UK tonight, April 24th.

Tonight, the four remaining contestants face a challenge – the winner will choose a side dish to complete their final meal as a team.

In each round, players can earn up to five stars. Getting four stars unlocks all the dinner courses, and if they get all five, they receive an additional reward.

Waterloo Road star Adam is playing to win desserts but has a tough challenge ahead of him.

He’s about to attempt a truly unpleasant eating challenge called “Swallow the Odds.”

I’m really worried about Adam! He’s about to try five truly awful-sounding meals, but I’m especially anxious to see how he’ll react when they bring out the dish based on his worst nightmare. It’s going to be tough to watch!

This follows a heated exchange on Thursday’s This Morning, where former I’m A Celebrity contestant David Haye accused Adam Gillen of pretending to be a victim. The accusation came after Gillen faced allegations of bullying the actor while they both appeared on I’m A Celebrity South Africa.

The 45-year-old boxer and the 37-year-old actress, who starred in Waterloo Road, had a difficult and argumentative relationship while filming in the South African jungle last September.

David has since been accused of ‘bullying’ after a series of swipes towards Adam were aired, which.

David harshly criticized the actor, calling him ‘useless’ after he attempted to avoid attending court because of health issues.

And in an appearance on the ITV daytime show, David defended his comments to Adam as ‘banter’.

Honestly, I was really upset to hear him criticize the Emmerdale actor like that. It felt incredibly insensitive to dismiss what the actor shared – describing it as just a bid for sympathy when he’d clearly gone through a truly awful experience, something he himself called the worst time of his life. It just didn’t sit right with me.

The athlete said he and Adam were getting along well after the event, and he’d talked to Adam only the day before this interview.

David mentioned that some people went through incredibly difficult experiences. He used Adam as an example, saying Adam claimed it was the worst thing that had ever happened to him, and David jokingly questioned how easy Adam’s life had generally been.

I got along well with everyone, including Adam. We’ve continued to talk since then, but I believe he contributed to the bullying situation. It seems like he’s trying to portray himself as the victim, even during the legal proceedings.

Adam, who used to be on Emmerdale, has psoriatic arthritis, an autoimmune disease. This made it difficult for him in the jungle, as he dealt with both tiredness and dehydration.

David admitted to pretending to be ill whenever a court date approached, explaining that his supposed illness conveniently appeared at those times.

‘He’s a super sweet guy, but I think he hams up, he’s a professional victim.’

He mentioned that during a ten-hour flight, he not only played against this person but also had to explain the concept of playful teasing to them while winning.

‘Even Harry, who has been around footballers his whole life, he gets banter.

‘I think he’s just too soft, he can give it but he can’t take it plain and simple.

‘It is a TV show, they edit it how they want to edit it to get the most engaging show.’
