He’s one of the most recognisable musicians on the planet. 

Adam Levine surprised fans over the weekend with his appearance at the 12th Breakthrough Prize Ceremony in Santa Monica.

Maroon 5’s Adam Levine, 47, and his wife, Behati Prinsloo, 37, showed plenty of affection for each other on the red carpet. Adam surprised fans with a clean-shaven look, ditching his typical beard.

However it wasn’t just his clean-shaven complexion that had fans scratching their heads. 

People quickly noticed the actor’s unusually tight skin and lack of facial expression, leading to widespread online rumors that he’d had cosmetic surgery.

People were shocked by Adam Levine’s appearance, with one commenter asking, “What happened to your face?!” and another expressing disbelief, saying, “That doesn’t even look like him!”

People commented that he appeared to have had cosmetic procedures, with one user wondering if he’d even had surgery.

‘When they start having surgery, they start looking embalmed!! Yikes,’ yet another wrote.

And someone else chimed in: ‘The figures in the wax museum have more expression in their faces.’ 

Others were more specific in their speculation as to what exactly Adam could have done to his face. 

‘Definitely a facelift,’ one wrote. 

‘That’s not Botox, that’s a lift,’ another agreed. 

Adam recently revealed he’s returning to The Voice US for its 30th season. He previously discussed how he maintains his youthful appearance in an interview with People magazine, shortly after turning forty.

‘I feel like I’m Benjamin Button-ing,’ he told the publication at the time. 

‘I feel younger and less mature, better-looking and just overall more youthful.’

Adam has never spoken about undergoing any cosmetic procedures. 

This public display of affection from Adam and Behati happens over three years after they worked through a difficult time. Previously, Adam was involved in a scandal where he sent inappropriate messages to several women.

When her husband’s private messages became public, Behati was pregnant with their third child.

In late 2022, Levine acknowledged sending flirtatious texts to model Sumner Stroh, but he maintained that they did not have a physical relationship.

Sumner surprised many online when she posted private messages with a coach from the show, The Voice, on TikTok.

The video showed flirty messages and hints about meeting in person. In the clip, Stroh stated she felt ‘manipulated’ by the celebrity.

Summer mentioned that Adam had hinted at trouble in his relationship with Behati. However, when Behati announced she was expecting their third child, Summer felt compelled to share her side of the story.

With news of the pregnancy, Adam allegedly told Summer that he wanted to name the child after her.

After the news came out, he posted about the rumors that he cheated, and admitted he went too far with inappropriate texts and messages.

‘A lot is being said about me right now and I want to clear the air,’ Adam said on social media. 

‘I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner.

I was unfaithful, though I regret my actions during a difficult time. There were moments when my behavior was unacceptable, and I’ve since taken responsibility and worked to make things right with my family.

He went on to say that his wife and family are his top priority. He admitted that risking their well-being was a huge mistake – the biggest he’s ever made – and vowed it wouldn’t happen again. He fully accepts responsibility and believes they will overcome this challenge as a united front.
