Kyle Sandilands allegedly told co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson to ‘get your f***ing s**t together’ or ‘don’t f***ing bother coming back’ in explosive off-air tirade

Recent court filings have revealed a heated exchange between radio personalities Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson. The documents claim Sandilands told Henderson to either improve her performance or not return to work, using strongly worded language.

The initial argument happened privately months before their well-publicized on-air fight, which eventually led to the cancellation of their popular morning show.

Court documents filed Tuesday reveal the dispute began at the KIIS FM studios in Sydney after something happened on the radio station’s broadcast last year.

KIIS FM’s parent company, the Commonwealth Broadcasting Corporation (owned by ARN Media), has revealed a previously unknown dispute as part of its ongoing legal battle with some former on-air personalities.

Both Sandilands, 54, and Henderson, 51, are suing the broadcaster, claiming they were wrongly fired. The broadcaster is defending itself by arguing that the pair caused significant financial damage after a disagreement on air led to a sharp drop in viewers for their popular show in February.

Court records show the two friends, who had worked together on air for over 20 years, had a major falling out months before it became public, with a significant argument happening last September.

The CBC claims Sandilands spoke disrespectfully to Henderson during a live argument, an event she also mentioned in her legal claim against the network.

But the argument didn’t stop when the microphones were switched off.

According to court documents, Henderson reportedly said to Kyle, “That’s really harsh, I haven’t done anything to deserve that.”

Oh my god, you will NOT believe what Kyle said! Apparently, someone was getting on his nerves, and he just exploded. He was like, ‘Seriously? You want the truth? Here it is: Today is the FIRST day you’ve ever bothered to pay attention or actually had to do anything important, and it’s all just garbage!’ I’m telling you, it was epic. He just completely shut them down. I’ve listened to it like, ten times already!

According to the documents, the argument worsened, and the two individuals swore at each other using offensive language.

Sandilands reportedly intensified the conflict, claiming Henderson acted overly protective and prioritized nurturing the contestants over the show’s content.

He reportedly told the person not to return until they had sorted out their life and behaved responsibly.

In court filings, Sandilands stated he felt he had been solely responsible for the program’s success for a year, and that his concerns were consistently ignored by newsreader Brooklyn Ross and other colleagues.

Should explosive backstage conflicts between co-hosts justify ending a top-rated radio show?

‘I’m just left here with a limp d**k in my hand,’ Sandilands allegedly added.

After five months, Sandilands and Henderson suddenly stopped working together. Their partnership ended after a heated argument on the air, where Sandilands claimed Henderson was out of touch with reality, leaving Henderson visibly upset.

Both stars are now suing their previous employer, claiming they were unfairly dismissed. Kyle Sandilands is seeking $85 million in damages, while Jackie Henderson is claiming $82 million.

These substantial amounts represent the money the two individuals claim they are still owed after their contracts were terminated. Those contracts were previously worth approximately $10 million annually for each of them.

CBC argues that Sandilands created such a hostile work environment that Henderson wouldn’t collaborate with him in the future.

The company states that Sandilands’ damaged relationship with Ms. Henderson resulted from ongoing workplace bullying and harassment she had reported. They claim this behavior was a significant violation of his employment contract.

The company strongly denies Sandilands’ claim that his firing was illegal, and also disputes Henderson’s statement that she was let go for requesting a safe and healthy work environment.

The CBC claims Sandilands violated several company rules, specifically those related to workplace safety, ethical behavior, and respectful conduct.

The February on‑air explosion is also alleged to have breached the NSW Work Health and Safety Act.

The CBC also contends that their agreement was to have Henderson work with Sandilands, as a co-host, and they weren’t required to find her another time to broadcast.

The company argues that her decision to stop working with him violated the terms of her contract.

News.com.au reports that Kyle Sandilands could return to the airwaves within weeks.

According to a source, the situation is expected to resolve on its own within two or three weeks.

According to a source, Kyle plans to return to his show and isn’t holding any grudges about the public disagreement with Jackie that led to his departure.

I’m really hoping he comes back, but honestly, I’m a little worried about the money. We all know he was making around $10 million a year before everything fell apart, and it’s unclear if he’d be willing to take less now. It’s a tough situation, and I’m just keeping my fingers crossed that they can reach an agreement!

According to a source, Kyle Sandilands wants to avoid a lengthy court battle and is open to accepting a fair settlement from his previous workplace.

Sandilands and Henderson are scheduled to meet with Justice Angus Stewart on Friday, April 24th, for case management hearings held individually.

If they both attend, this would be their first meeting since the memorable disagreement that happened on air on February 20th.

The hearings will set dates for submitting evidence and could also finalize when the trial will take place.

A trial date has been tentatively set for Sandilands’ case between June 22nd and 26th, following his initial court appearance late last month.
