Damian Lewis and his partner, Alison Mosshart, appeared very affectionate as they attended the premiere of the David Bowie: You’re Not Alone exhibition in London on Tuesday evening.
This project is a captivating, all-around multimedia experience and personal showcase, currently being presented at Lightroom London in King’s Cross.
Starting April 22, 2026, and continuing through at least October 2026, this show will immerse you in David Bowie’s artistry using huge 11-meter-high projections and a unique sound system designed to create a fully surrounding experience.
Fifty-five-year-old actor Damian looked stylish in a Bowie t-shirt and leather jacket, with his arm affectionately around Alison.
Alison, age 47, is known as the singer for the bands The Kills and The Dead Weather. She recently stood out wearing a camouflage jacket, tight jeans, and heavy boots.
Also at the event were the likes of Boy George and Natalie Appleton and her son Ace Billy Howlett.
A year after his wife, Helen McCrory, sadly died in April 2021 following a private fight with breast cancer at age 52, Damien began a romantic relationship with Alison.
Soon after Helen passed away, Damian shared a touching tribute to her in The Times. He revealed that she’d encouraged him to find love again, and his children even joked that she ‘wanted daddy to have lots of girlfriends’.
Damian was recently seen out with his children, 19-year-old Manon and 18-year-old Gulliver, at the Burberry show during London Fashion Week.
Damian beamed with pride as he hugged his children, whom he shares with Helen.
Damian recently shared touching memories of his mother, Helen, in The Times, describing the traits his children inherited from her and how much they miss her.
He shared that she passed away too young, leaving their children, Manon and Gully, but that he had raised them to be ready for the world.
They inherited their mother’s bravery, intelligence, inquisitiveness, skill, and loveliness. She has always encouraged us to be brave and face our fears.
She often told her children, ‘Don’t be upset, because I’m happy with how my life turned out, even though I’m dying.’
Damian recently shared details about the challenges of raising a large and lively family, including one regret he has as a parent, shortly before he and his family attended fashion week.
In an October episode of the Dish from Waitrose podcast, he shared details about his family life with Nick Grimshaw and Angela Harnett. He revealed that while his family gets along great, his daughter has banned him from cooking for her.
As someone who loves being in the kitchen, I definitely enjoy cooking! It’s funny, though – my daughter has actually started telling me to let her do the cooking now. Apparently, I’ve been replaced! It’s all part of growing up, I suppose.
‘She’s vegetarian and she’s become very particular about how she cooks. I bought her an air fryer.’
