Recently released photos and videos give fans a first glimpse of Season 3 of Wednesday as filming is underway. The new footage also reveals that the season is now being filmed in Paris, a change of scenery for the show.

Jenna Ortega has been spotted filming with director Tim Burton and co-star Fred Armisen near the Seine River. She was seen wearing a new all-black outfit – a long coat and flared pants – and still sporting her character’s recognizable hairstyle.

Netflix recently shared a new photo from the upcoming season. It features Wednesday standing by a motorcycle in front of the Eiffel Tower, with Thing (played by Victor Dorobantu) nearby. She’s holding a note and looking forward with a calm expression. The photo was released with the caption, “From Paris, with dread,” hinting at the season’s setting.

Filming for season three started in February and introduces a number of new actors to the show, including Eva Green as Aunt Ophelia, alongside Winona Ryder, Lena Headey, Andrew McCarthy, James Lance, Chris Sarandon, Noah Taylor, Oscar Morgan, and Kennedy Moyer. Details about their characters are still under wraps. Several familiar faces from previous seasons will also be returning.

At the end of last season, Wednesday left with Thing in Uncle Fester’s motorcycle sidecar to find Enid, who had run away into the woods after getting stuck in her werewolf form. We don’t have any official details about what will happen in Season 3 yet.
