Will The Devil Wears Prada 2 premiere in the UK be affected by the strikes?

If you’re going to the European premiere of The Devil Wears Prada 2, be aware that a tube strike might disrupt public transportation in London that day.

The movie premieres in Leicester Square tomorrow night, April 22nd. Make sure you don’t miss seeing the stars on the red carpet – you wouldn’t want to end up like Andy, scrambling for coffee and missing all the action!

Many talented actors are expected to be at the event, including Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci. Also attending are Simone Ashley and Caleb Hearon, who recently appeared in The Devil Wears Prada.

Director David Frankel and screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna, who both worked on the original film, are also here. Joining them are costume designer Molly Rogers and producer Wendy Finerman.

Transport for London (TfL) has announced that strikes may cause major travel disruptions starting today, April 21st, at noon and lasting until noon tomorrow. The entire London transportation network will be affected, with fewer trains running than usual on most lines. This means longer waits and crowded conditions for those who are able to travel.

Now that the strike is over and the premiere is beginning, it doesn’t seem likely to impact the crowds heading to Leicester Square. However, Transport for London (TfL) has cautioned that some travel disruptions might continue later in the evening. Since central London is always extremely busy, it’s best to plan your journey well ahead of time.

The sequel to the popular 2006 film The Devil Wears Prada will be released on May 1st. It brings back Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly and Anne Hathaway as Andy Sachs, who now work together to revitalize Runway magazine, where Andy is a features editor.

I couldn’t believe it when I ran into Emily Charlton again! Remember her from The Devil Wears Prada? She used to be Miranda’s assistant and totally missed out on Paris Fashion Week. Well, she’s really turned things around! Now she’s a big shot – like, executive director for a major luxury brand. It’s cool to see her doing so well after everything.

Now the tables have turned: Emily controls the money that could save Miranda and Runway from failing. But after a long and bitter work rivalry, it’s unclear if she’ll be willing to put their differences aside and help.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 releases in cinemas on 1 May.
