To celebrate the game’s 10th anniversary and reaching over 3.2 billion downloads, Outfit7 has added this limited-time event, which puts a fun and slightly mischievous spin on the familiar endless running gameplay. Players will soon find out if it’s a playfully challenging event or something a bit more… tricky!

The Toxic Cloud arrives with Sands of Time as a new World in Talking Tom Gold Run

The Relic Rush event changes the game from its typical short, explosive matches to a more constant and intense experience. Instead of simply destroying things, you now have to race against a slowly rising, poisonous cloud that covers the screen.

You need to make precise decisions, because even a small delay or poorly timed jump will cause the gas to overtake you and end your attempt. It will become increasingly difficult, too, because the cloud adapts to how well you’re doing, making the gas move faster as you progress.

The new event takes place in a newly designed setting inspired by ancient Egypt. This environment is visually cleaner and less cluttered than previous locations, removing elements like buses to help you focus.

You’ll be racing through decaying ruins with platforms that fall apart as you run. Watch out for dangers like rolling boulders, floors filled with spikes, and speeding sarcophagi! It gets even more intense when mummies start appearing during the chase.

In Relic Rush, you advance by collecting Scarab Tokens, which let you unlock special items. Two exciting new additions are coming! First, you can earn a new character outfit called Explorer Becca simply by playing the game. Second, Cleo-Cat-Ra Angela is a new Egyptian-themed skin available for purchase.

A hidden Secret Level is available for players seeking a really tough challenge. You’ll need to explore far into the ruins and withstand the increasingly dangerous toxic cloud to unlock it.
