The 35-year-old celebrity, known from I’m A Celeb, shared the happy news on Monday night that she and her fiancé, Scott Dobinson, are expecting their second child in a heartwarming video.
Scarlett has talked openly about the difficulties she faced trying to have a baby for four years before finally welcoming her son, Jude, in June 2023.
She shared the wonderful news of her pregnancy, writing: ‘We’re so excited and a little shocked to announce that we’re expecting! After everything we’ve been through, we feel incredibly grateful to be expanding our family.’
We’re so happy to announce that Jude, our precious little boy, is going to be a big brother! We just know he’ll be the best one ever. ❤️
We’re incredibly thankful and thrilled – honestly, we’re still processing everything! We’re feeling more loved and happy than we ever imagined.
The celebrity has always been honest about the challenges she’s experienced while trying to have a bigger family.
Scarlett recently shared that she and her fiancé, Scott, were devastated and spent an entire day crying after experiencing a miscarriage in late 2024.
On Friday’s episode of I’m A Celebrity, Scarlett revealed to Sinitta that she had experienced a miscarriage, explaining that she and her partner were grieving for the future they had envisioned.
After Jude was born, we tried for another baby but unfortunately had a miscarriage. It was a really difficult time – I remember Scott’s parents taking Jude for the day, and Scott and I just stayed in bed, both of us crying.
It’s painful to think about them running down the stairs together at Christmas. Just picturing it is really difficult and upsetting.
Scarlett shared with the Bush Telegraph that losing a baby is like grieving for the future you pictured, and it’s incredibly heartbreaking.
You know, I was just thinking about how lucky we are to have what we have. It’s so easy to get caught up in wanting more, but it’s really important to appreciate everything we do have. I was saying to a friend the other day, we need to remember to be grateful for what we’ve achieved and enjoy it!
Scarlett recently shared that she experienced a miscarriage late last year, after having her son Jude. She explained they had already announced the pregnancy to friends and family and were very happy about it.
We’d spent time dreaming about their future – things like running down the stairs together on Christmas morning as siblings. It’s heartbreaking to grieve not just the person you lost, but also the life you’d pictured them living.
Scarlett told The Sun that she was in bed with Scott when she decided she couldn’t cope with the emotional pain of their relationship any longer. She suggested they break up, but agreed they should focus on enjoying time with their son, Jude.
It’s heartbreaking to see anyone go through something like that, and I truly admire those who keep moving forward, because it can be incredibly damaging to a person’s spirit.
Scarlett had previously discussed the difficult experience of giving birth to Jude, explaining she lost a lot of blood during labor.
She recently shared on the show Loose Women that she hadn’t wanted a blood transfusion as part of her birth plan, but ended up needing one. She estimates she lost around one and a half litres of blood during the delivery.
I was feeling quite dizzy, and I asked my husband to go with the baby. Shortly after, the baby developed low blood sugar.
His blood sugar was low, and he was jaundiced, so I went to the NICU, but Scott told me to go back to bed and rest.
After Jude was born, Scarlett shared on Instagram how thankful she was for the care he received in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
As many of you know, it’s NICU Awareness Month, and it’s a cause very close to my heart. My little Jude was a true miracle – he arrived unexpectedly early, at just 35 weeks and 5 days, about a month before his due date. He really surprised us!
I’ll always be thankful for the incredible care and support we received from the NICU at Durham Hospital, particularly from Helen and Charlotte!
I’m thrilled to be working with WaterWipes, who are launching their fifth annual Pure Foundation Fund. This fund is a wonderful opportunity to show your appreciation for people and teams who provide exceptional care to premature babies or those in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
The TV star and her former police officer fiancé, Scott, got engaged in 2023, shortly after having a baby, and plan to get married next year.
