BladeRite: Rivals is coming to mobile devices with exciting, fast-paced battle royale gameplay. A new closed beta test, called “6-7 BETA,” will be available on Android in certain areas starting April 23, 2026.
BladeRite: Rivals will focus on a 20-player battle royale wrapped quickly
Here’s a quick look at the game’s history. BladeRite: Rivals was originally announced last year as Project A: Melee Battle Royale. If you participated in early tests under that original name, you’ll likely recognize the look and feel of the game.
BladeRite offers a unique take on the battle royale genre. It ditches guns and centers the action around intense, up-close sword fighting, special abilities, and magical elements. Players compete in matches with up to 20 others, where skillful timing, dodging, and ability usage are key to winning.
Matches are generally faster, lasting about 7 minutes, making it quicker to complete a game compared to traditional versions. Players can also choose from a variety of characters to play as, including Karlbrujah, Sethelia, Peggy, and more.
I’m so excited! After everything they’ve been building, BladeRite: Rivals is finally letting players test it out in Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Brazil, Egypt, and Iraq! The test starts on April 23, 2026, and while they haven’t said when it will end yet, you can head to the official website for all the details.
So, just like with these kinds of tests, anything I earn or unlock won’t stick around after it’s over – everything gets reset. The devs also want us to remember this is still a very early version of the game, so things are likely to change before it’s officially released – and honestly, they haven’t even given us a release date yet!
