Nosferatu is now available to watch at home

Now you can enjoy watching the classic movie Nosferatu from the comfort of your home, as it has earned over $150 million globally since its initial release during the holiday season.

Under the guidance of director Robert Eggers, this chilling horror film serves as a modern retelling of the classic 1922 movie. In the lead role, Lily-Rose Depp plays Ellen, a young woman who finds herself pursued by the ancient vampire Count Orlok, portrayed by Bill Skarsgård.

If you’d like to enjoy Nosferatu in its entirety, it’s still playing in cinemas. However, for those residing in the U.S., you can now purchase or rent Nosferatu on Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, and various other digital marketplaces.

In the UK, it hasn’t been released digitally yet, and Universal hasn’t announced when Nosferatu will be available for digital viewing in our region.

In the UK, it’s common for Universal films to be available digitally about 45 days after their cinema debut. This means you can expect the digital release to occur around mid-February.

You have the option to reserve a copy of Nosferatu on both Amazon Prime Video and iTunes, so you can enjoy it immediately upon its release date.

Additionally, you have the option to reserve a copy of the movie “Nosferatu” on DVD, Blu-ray, or 4K Ultra HD before it hits shelves in the UK. Similar to its digital version, Universal hasn’t announced a specific launch date for the physical edition’s availability just yet.

There’s also a 4K Steelbook available to pre-order, which will be released on the same day.

Prior to the cinema debut, Depp discussed with Digital Spy an essential modification in the updated adaptation of “Nosferatu”, which significantly expands Ellen’s role within the narrative, making it more dynamic.

This woman is not just haunted by the vampire and dark entity tormenting her, but there’s also a deep yearning that adds layers of complexity to her situation,” she observed.

“Nosferatu has hit the big screens across the U.S., or if you prefer to watch it at home, you can purchase or rent it on platforms like Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, and others.”
