The well-known mansion showcased on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills sadly met its end due to the devastating wildfires sweeping through Los Angeles.

I often find myself drawn to the opulent residence that once served as a home for Yolanda Hadid, now 60, and where she nurtured her children, such as Gigi and Bella Hadid. This remarkable property was no stranger to the limelight, appearing frequently in the highly popular Bravo franchise series.

Originally serving as a setting for reality TV shows and lavish dinner parties during the early seasons, it now only has its bare wooden frames standing.

The luxurious villa in Malibu, famously called the Carbon Canyon Estate, had previously been leased by Kylie Jenner for approximately $500,000 per month. However, tragically, this magnificent property no longer stands following the brave efforts of firefighters to extinguish the flames.

After the destructive wildfires swept through Pacific Palisades, only the remnants of the grand estate remain visible. Furthermore, numerous opulent homes of the wealthy and well-known were consumed by the flames across Los Angeles.

The last owner had just put the Los Angeles mansion up for sale in July 2024 for $35 million.

Now, what was once a lush, verdant barrier of hedges and foliage has been reduced to ashes, much like the homes in the surrounding neighborhood.

The spacious six-bedroom, eleven-bathroom mansion was famously recognized as the residence of Yolanda Hadid, a former cast member on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Previously, Hadid bought the house back in 2007 for $4.5 million, and spent a span of two years refurbishing it to match her preferences and those of her former partner, David Foster, who is known for his work in composting.

While Hadid resided in that house, it was graced by legendary moments featuring a cherished group of actors: Taylor Armstrong, Kim Richards, Lisa Vanderpump, Adrienne Maloof, Brandi Glanville, and Kyle Richards.

In my expertise, I had the privilege of calling this stunning residence mine, a home that graced the screens of numerous seasons of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Most notably, it was the setting for the unforgettable “Don’t Sing For Your Supper” episode during season three.

For four years, Hadid and Foster were husband and wife. In the year 2015, she disclosed the initiation of a divorce, and they officially ended their legal union two years later, in 2017.

In 2015, she disposed of a luxurious Malibu mansion, designed with Mediterranean influences, which had been her residence for eight years and served as the childhood home for Gigi, Bella, and Anwar Hadid.

What was once a vibrant and bustling house, enveloped by a wealth of greenery, now presents itself as a faded, sepia-hued scene, with debris and remnants of buildings scattered about, along with a handful of resilient palm trees still standing.

On Tuesday morning, a fire erupted in the Pacific Palisades area, which has experienced dry conditions for over half a year due to strong winds.

Catastrophic blazes swept through the upscale neighborhood of Pacific Palisades on Tuesday, swiftly encroaching upon nearby suburbia, propelled by strong winds that scattered sparks and rubble everywhere.

People hurriedly left their homes and anxiously held their breath, eager for updates, since rumors spread that entire neighborhoods no longer existed, firefighters were rapidly depleting their water supply, and efforts were being redirected to combat the spreading flames from various directions.

Approximately 30,000 people living in Pacific Palisades and its surrounding communities have been issued compulsory evacuation notices due to the imminent danger to their lives, as authorities have warned.

In the metropolitan region, spanning from the Pacific Coast up to Pasadena, no less than six distinct fires are currently raging.

California Governor Gavin Newsom has announced an emergency status, as concerns grow that the current conditions might further deteriorate.

Emergency services enlisted the aid of the National Guard, supporting tireless firefighters who were grappling with six different blazes, as the smoky air above Los Angeles took on an eerie, end-of-days quality.

On Wednesday evening, two fresh fires ignited simultaneously in the Hollywood Hills and Studio City, necessitating firefighters to reallocate their limited emergency response teams.

Currently, extensive wildfires are burning through significant portions of well-known southern California property stretching from Malibu to Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades, and Runyon Canyon. These fires have affected countless residents and vacationers who were taken by surprise due to the unexpected rapid spread and devastation.

In the tragic natural disaster that has occurred thus far, at least five individuals have sadly perished. Over 2,000 buildings have been entirely destroyed, while countless residents of the City of Angels are now left with just ashes and no possessions.
