Anthony Hopkins $6M California home burnt to the ground in LA fire
Sadly, Anthony Hopkins has suffered the loss of his house due to the destructive wildfires sweeping across Los Angeles.
The well-known actor, aged 87, has sadly joined an expanding group of prominent figures in Hollywood whose houses were destroyed by the ongoing fires in the region.
Presently, more than 30,000 people have been instructed to leave their homes due to the fires, and many well-known personalities are included in this group of individuals impacted.
In 2021, Hopkins, the new owner, bought a breathtaking four-bedroom, five-bathroom house located in the Pacific Palisades region for $6 million. Unfortunately, this very property was ravaged by fire.
Images show the burnt-out shell of an elegant old colonial house, leaving just a blackened fence as a vestige of the enchanting estate that used to exist.
The actor who won an Oscar found a new beginning by buying a house, having recently sold his Malibu oceanfront home for a staggering $10.5 million – significantly higher than the initial price he paid in 2001.

In the wake of the relentless blazes, Hopkins and numerous others find themselves struggling amidst the devastating aftermath of losing their residences in one of the most affected zones within Los Angeles.
The luxury home worth $7 million owned by actors Adam Brody and Leighton Meester, one of 1,000 structures, was unfortunately damaged beyond repair by the spreading wildfires.
In 2019, the couple bought a five-bedroom house, however, recent photos reveal that the property is currently on fire.
45-year-old The Nobody Wants This star and the 38-year-old Gossip Girl actress were most recently spotted together at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, just under two days before the fires started.
They lived at the 6,000 square foot home with their two young daughters.
Similarly, actress Anna Faris’ $5 million eco-friendly abode was totally decimated by the blaze.

Previously known television talk show host, Ricki Lake, penned a heartfelt message expressing deep sorrow over the irreplaceable loss she felt towards her cherished house, which she referred to as her dream dwelling.
56-year-old Lake acquired the property all the way back in 2014. It was here that she exchanged vows with her husband, Ross Sussman, in their very own backyard, only three years past that.
‘It’s hard to accept, but I’m typing these words… Our cherished dream house is gone, as Lake shared on Instagram.’
A more descriptive term than ‘dream home’ is needed. It wasn’t just a dream house; it was our paradise on earth, the location we envisioned spending our golden years together.
We never underestimated the value of our heavenly vantage point overlooking adored Malibu, not a moment’s worth. The sorrow we feel from this loss can’t be measured.
Actor James Woods, who has been nominated for an Oscar, posted a video showing a house, situated just two blocks away from his own, engulfed in flames.
