Cardi B shares update on relationship status with Offset after twerking at his birthday party

As a longtime follower and admirer of the dynamic duo, Cardi B and Offset, I find myself deeply saddened by their latest separation. Having grown up listening to their music and witnessing their meteoric rise in the hip-hop scene, their story has always been one that resonated with me.

Cardi B clarified her relationship status with Offset after twerking at his birthday party.

Over the weekend, the 32-year-old rapper joined her estranged husband’s birthday celebrations in Miami, which took place after his 33rd birthday.

Following their public appearance, she divulged their current status during a live broadcast on X Spaces.

According to The Jasmine Brand, she informed her followers that since it’s been more than a week of peace, she finds the current atmosphere pleasing.

She mentioned, “We aren’t arguing or communicating much. However, it seems we’re progressing towards a stage where our parenting relationship is very healthy.

The celebrity, known for flaunting her extravagant financial lifestyle, filed for divorce again in August, just a year after she had initially filed in September 2020.

Cardi B, known as Belcalis Marlenis Cephus, is a mother to three children, which includes a brand-new infant, alongside Offset.

The duo are currently parents to their 6-year-old daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus, as well as their 3-year-old son, Wave Set Cephus. Their most recent addition, a newborn daughter born in September, remains nameless for the time being, as the couple has decided not to disclose her name yet.

Offset is also a father to sons Jordan, 14, and Kody, nine, from past relationships.

At the ongoing gathering, Cardi B mentioned that things between them have improved significantly, which is why she’s been feeling exceptionally well lately.

‘We’ve been really happy,’ she said. 

As a die-hard fan, I must say, this week has felt like a breath of fresh air after three months of non-stop chaos! It’s been all about drama, arguments, and craziness. I’ve lived through it all, and honestly, it’s been exhausting. But this week, things have calmed down, and for once, it feels good to just enjoy the peace and quiet.

She added: ‘However, for the past eight days, things have remained surprisingly calm, without any unnecessary trouble or fuss.’

The Up hitmaker added: ‘It’s getting to the point where everybody’s moving on very healthy.’ 

In our conversation, she mentioned that they both have been exploring relationships with other individuals, choosing instead to maintain a considerate and tolerant attitude towards each other’s romantic endeavors.

She mentioned that she is currently with someone significant, implying a romantic relationship, and asked to be left alone, saying, “I’m engaged, so let’s keep our distance.

On the weekend, she made every effort to outshine all the dancers at Taboo Miami on Saturday night during Offset’s 33rd birthday party, where they are no longer together.

32-year-old Grammy victor enthusiastically danced to a beat, donning a snug cat-suit, just a few steps from the premium seating section of the three-time Grammy nominee’s ‘ultimate adult entertainment venue’.

Prior to becoming famous, Cardi B earned a living for about three and a half years by dancing at gentleman’s clubs in New York under the alias ‘Camilla.’

At some point, Kiari Kendrell Cephus (also known as Offset) threw a pile of one-dollar bills towards his separated spouse. She responded by brushing them aside, giving off an expression of irritation.

In a post on X, Cardi B (with an impressive 280.4 million social media followers) mused on Sunday about today’s dating culture seeming peculiar.

‘It seems like you’re saying something inappropriate, perhaps you meant “My precious one” or “My dear,” but I find this language uncomfortable. Let me put it simply, I don’t appreciate being called a “little fart.”‘ The goal here is to convey the same sentiment while using more polite and respectful language.

In simple terms, the celebrity with a mixed heritage (Dominican and Trinidadian) submitted divorce papers to her Swing My Way rapper partner on July 31, 2023, having separated back in November 2023 after being married for six years.

Cardi B is seeking principal care and living arrangements for her six-year-old daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus, her three-year-old son Wave Set Cephus, as well as their unnamed three-month-old daughter, in a custody arrangement.

As a devoted supporter looking back, I recall the temporary split between Kamala Harris’ campaign and Offset, occurring from December 5, 2018 to January 31, 2019, due to infidelity accusations. However, it appears that those concerns were not the focus this time around.

In September, the former member of Migos alleged that Cardi B had been unfaithful to him while pregnant, an accusation she seemed to corroborate during her Instagram Live session.

During the livestream, the Marc Jacobs brand ambassador expressed their frustration by saying, “I’m not impressed by anything now because you’ve accomplished so much that I no longer pay attention.

However, I must express my disappointment. I wish things could have turned out differently between us. Frankly, I believe I deserve more than what we had. From the start, I was above your level, my friend. Fortunately, my children adore you, so I wouldn’t consider causing you harm. Street ethics guide me, and I abide by them.

The on/off hip-hop power couple’s first date was the 2017 Super Bowl.

On New Year’s Eve, December 31st, you can catch Cardi performing at the midnight show of E11EVEN Miami’s NYE Winter Wonderland. Tickets for this event cost $275.

The Miami-based rapper from Enough will later contend for the award in the category of Best Rap Performance at the 67th Grammy Awards. These awards will be broadcasted on CBS and Paramount+ starting February 2.

Cardi B is intending to put out her much-anticipated second studio album, a sequel to her 2018 debut “Invasion of Privacy,” sometime next year.
