The Hulk’s storylines in the Marvel Cinematic Universe have often been disappointing. His romance with Black Widow in Avengers: Age of Ultron didn’t develop, and Thor: Ragnarok‘s take on Planet Hulk wasn’t very good. We saw him sidelined in Avengers: Infinity War, and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law introduced a son who likely won’t reappear. While the Hulk has had some impressive moments, the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day might just reinforce the idea that this powerful character rarely achieves lasting victories.

With half of the year still ahead, plenty of exciting movies across all genres are scheduled for release in theaters and on streaming platforms. While many are directed by well-known American filmmakers, some come from international directors. One of the most eagerly awaited films is Hope, directed by Na Hong-jin.

Prime 1 Studio is releasing a highly detailed new Thor figure that’s modeled after his appearance in the God of War games. While we don’t have a release date for the God of War: Laufey game yet, this impressive statue should help fans pass the time – though it’s quite expensive.

The Star Wars sequels weren’t perfect – different directors had conflicting ideas which resulted in a somewhat disjointed story. However, they are still fun movies and deserve credit for their strengths. They feature exciting action and introduced some memorable new characters.

A recent surge in popularity has made the 1997 TV miniseries The Odyssey a success on demand. FlixPatrol reports that the series, starring Armand Assante as Odysseus, is currently the eighth most-downloaded show on Apple TV in the US. It’s joined by other titles experiencing a similar boost thanks to the new film Troy, and several movies directed by Christopher Nolan – including Interstellar, Tenet, and Batman Begins.
