I was completely blown away when the God of War series reimagined itself back in 2018, diving into Norse mythology! Seeing their take on gods like Odin and Thor was incredible. And now, as a huge fan, I’m so excited to hear they’re releasing a statue of Thor in January 2027 – I absolutely have to get my hands on it!
Prime 1 Studio is releasing a highly detailed new Thor figure that’s modeled after his appearance in the God of War games. While we don’t have a release date for the God of War: Laufey game yet, this impressive statue should help fans pass the time – though it’s quite expensive.
God of War Ragnarök’s Thor Is Coming to Life in a New Statue
Thor is a hugely powerful figure in the God of War world, and Prime 1 Studio’s new statue perfectly captures his incredible strength. This statue, part of their high-quality Real Elite Masterline series, is called “Thor DX Bonus Version” and features impressive details and design.
This impressive 1/3 scale statue depicts Kratos, the legendary thunder god from the game . The figure shows Kratos as he travels through the Nine Realms to confront Ragnarök. As a follow-up to the popular Real Elite Masterline series, Thor is the newest addition to the collection.
This impressively detailed, one-third scale statue captures the heart of Thor – a powerful warrior haunted by sadness. The sculpture’s realistic features, including his intense gaze, the scar beneath his eye, and magically-infused tattoos, truly bring the legendary god to life.
Okay, so this character? The description is going on and on about how intense he looks. He’s got a beard and messy hair that kinda hide his face, and they’ve really focused on making him look brooding. But it’s his body that’s insane – seriously ripped, with huge muscles. And it’s not just size, they’ve put so much detail into the skin, like wrinkles and rough textures, to make him look like he’s been through a long and tough life. It’s like they’re really trying to sell the idea that this guy is a seasoned warrior or something.
The leather armor and belts feature classic designs, and the metal details look aged and were carefully reproduced to match the original. Even Mjölnir, representing his fierce power, is a striking contrast – it’s powerfully built but also includes intricate work, making it both destructive and mysterious.
The “Thor DX Bonus Version” collectible includes a themed base, two interchangeable heads, three different arms, a removable cloak, a stand for displaying the head, lights that illuminate parts of the figure, and a miniature Mjolnir hammer. This full set, including the Thor statue itself, is priced at $1,999. A simpler “Regular” version with fewer accessories is available for $1,599.
You can now pre-order both versions of the Thor statue. They are expected to ship between November 2026 and February 2027.
