Rebekah Vardy’s former spouse accused her of being eager for fame, willing to make or say anything for financial gain.

Steve Clarke, aged 59, stated that his wife, Vardy, has a strong desire to remain prominent and exhibits ‘100%’ jealousy towards her fellow WAG, Coleen Rooney, who is also often in the spotlight.

He told TopMob: ‘She is just desperate to stay relevant and keep her name in the news.

‘Her actions, commenting on “I’m a Celebrity”, seem rather pitiful, but they indicate a strong jealousy towards Coleen. I’d wager a hundred percent certainty that she’s trying to stay relevant by keeping her face and name in the public eye.’

I’d say, “I noted: ‘When one observes Coleen, she radiates joy and positivity. The crowd adores her, but when Rebekah was in the jungle, there were discussions about her seemingly unapproachable demeanor, often referred to as a resting bitch face. It seems that people find Colleen more appealing, and the public appears less sympathetic towards Rebekah.’

In simpler terms, it appears that Mr. Clarke was discussing an ongoing dispute between Vardy and Coleen, who are both wives of famous men. Vardy criticized Coleen sharply in a column she wrote for a well-known newspaper, making several pointed remarks.

Vardy expressed her hope that Rooney would have to either eat a humiliating apology or an unusual food item in the jungle, and more recently criticized BBC Radio 1 presenter Dean McCullough for being overly friendly with Rooney, in a strong verbal attack on another occasion.

Vardy, at 42 years old, labeled Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly as “two narrow-minded individuals,” and referred to Coleen as “the continuous source of surprise” following an incident where her canoe overturned during the celebrities’ race towards camp.

In 2005, there was a bitter separation between Mr. Clarke, a resident of Banbury, Oxfordshire, and Rebekah. Their paths crossed in 2001 when she served as his secretary at his timeshare business. He was the proud owner of an array of luxury vehicles, among them a Ferrari.

They lived in Oxford, London and later Cyprus.

In Cyprus, after our move, she expressed a desire for the finest things in life. This included hiring a nanny for their daughters, purchasing a newer vehicle, and seeking a larger and upgraded villa. It seemed like she was always yearning for something greater.

‘It’s unfortunate for Jamie Vardy, as his earnings of £1m a month seem to vanish with his partner spending an estimated £1.5m. Truly, she can be quite challenging.’

He was Vardy’s second husband after her marriage to electrician Mark Godden.

In his current role as head of a health and wellness firm, Mr. Clarke asserted that Vardy’s actions are fueled more by envy towards Rooney.

He stated: ‘It’s clear that Rebekah envies Coleen and seems to live in her reflection. It appears she dislikes the fact that Coleen has established her own identity beyond being Mrs. Wayne Rooney.’

‘Individually, she stands out as unique; contrastingly, Rebekah’s significance stems from her marriage to a top-tier footballer. This explains why she went ahead to trademark the name Wagatha Christie, even after losing in court. Despite the loss, she found a way to capitalize on it.’

He acknowledged having a strained relationship with his ex, as Vardy claimed he was abusive; a charge he strongly disagrees with.

He said she suspects she is doing a running commentary on the I’m a Celebrity show for money.

He stated, ‘In essence, given her substantial legal expenses and financial need, she’ll likely delay paying Colleen as much as possible. Given her character, this is something she might do. She was publicly humiliated during the trial and it’s evident to many that her actions are insincere.’

In a contentious statement, Vardy previously asserted that Mr Clarke coerced her into disclosing her one-night stand with pop star Peter Andre in a newspaper interview. However, during the highly publicized ‘Wagatha Christie’ trial, he was reached out to by Rooney’s legal team but opted not to participate.

Regarding their marriage, Vardy expressed that it rapidly transformed into an unpleasant situation for her; she felt fearful of him. He would dictate what she should do, where she should go, and how she should behave.

As a die-hard admirer, let me share a personal confession: During the twilight of my first marital journey, I had an unforgettable evening with Peter Andre. In a moment of reckless candor, I disclosed this to him. Little did I know that he would leverage the situation, pushing me to air our private affair in public. The repercussions left me feeling deeply ashamed and vulnerable.

They had an on-off relationship and wed when she was 23 and eight months pregnant by another man.

Weeks later, she had eldest daughter Megan.

Vardy stated: ‘As soon as she arrived, he forced us to relocate overseas. He claimed he had debt and desired us to flee to Cyprus. Things only got worse from that point. He grew abusive towards me. He was unfaithful, deceitful. It endured for ten months before I managed to return to the UK with my child after he cheated on me.’

Two years into his imprisonment, Clarke was penalized due to his guilty verdict in a case involving reckless driving that resulted in a fatal head-on collision, claiming the lives of a father and grandfather.

Later on, Mrs. Vardy gave birth to her son Taylor with the football player Luke Foster. Subsequently, she encountered Jamie, a man of 37 years old, whom she later wedded in May 2016.
