Fans of Elden Ring have a lot to look forward to! Leaked photos from the set of the upcoming movie, and the planned 2026 release of Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition, are generating excitement. The movie, a collaboration between Alex Garland and A24 Films, is reportedly already in production, and early glimpses suggest it will be a faithful adaptation of the popular FromSoftware game, despite initial doubts.
Pre-orders are now live for Elden Ring on the Nintendo Switch 2, known as the Tarnished Edition. It looks like a downloadable content pack will also be available for all other platforms, and it will likely include the new armor and Torrent skins that come with the Switch 2 version.
Fans of Elden Ring have even more to be excited about this year! A new, officially licensed product featuring a popular character from the game is set to release this summer (according to Mamegyorai).
Elden Ring Officially Returns This July
A new collectible figure of Rya the Scout from Elden Ring is coming soon! Created by sculptor Masato Ohata and Max Factory’s Pop-Up Parade line, the figure depicts Rya as she appears in the Volcano Manor before becoming Zorayas – if players follow her storyline and defeat Rykard.
You can now pre-order the figure from retailers like Mamegyorai, Good Smile, and Nin-Nin-Games. It costs around $45 (¥6,820) as a deposit and stands about 17–18 cm tall. The figure is beautifully detailed to look just like the character in the game, and fans have been asking for it since it was first shown on X (formerly Twitter) in 2023.
Not everyone will be interested in collecting Elden Ring merchandise, but dedicated fans quickly buy officially licensed items. The Bandai Namco store currently offers several limited-edition products, such as Elden Ring skate decks and a stylish jacket inspired by the character Ranni the Witch, among other things.
It’s A Great Time To Be An Elden Ring Fan
With an Elden Ring movie in the works and a special edition of the game coming out soon, fans are eager to see what FromSoftware will do next. The studio seems to be focusing on games with multiplayer elements, like Nightreign and Duskbloods, which leaves players wondering if we’ll ever see a true Elden Ring 2 sequel, or perhaps a brand new single-player, open-world game in the style of the Soulsborne series.
FromSoftware hasn’t officially announced any future plans for Elden Ring, but there’s a lot to be excited about in the near future, and we’re hoping to hear some big news soon.
