I’m A Celebrity’s Jane Moore admits what she really thinks of Coleen Rooney and reveals which campmate she wants to see in the final
As a dedicated fan, I must say that Jane Moore’s journey through the jungle has been nothing short of captivating! The woman is a force to be reckoned with, and her experiences in the camp have shown us a side of Coleen Rooney that we haven’t seen before – a strong, compassionate, and resilient individual who runs her household like a well-oiled machine.
Jane Moore warned that anyone underestimating Coleen Rooney could be doing so at their own risk, as she shared her insights about her fellow contestants on “I’m A Celebrity.
On Friday, the first celebrity to leave the I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here jungle was the presenter from Loose Women, who is 62 years old. She will now enjoy a luxurious stay in a hotel until the finale when the winner is announced.
Regarding living with Colleen, Jane mentioned: “Colleen is rather calm and private, yet beware of underestimating her. She’s essentially the heart of the Rooney family, managing their household seamlessly, much like a finely tuned mechanism.
“From my perspective, certain aspects of ‘Col,’ who I refer to now because we share an intimacy, appear rather exaggerated or theatrical to the general public. These include her role in the Wagatha Christie scandal and her image as a footballer’s wife.
Seeing her step into something, displaying her strength and beauty made me incredibly joyful.
Jane also named radio DJ Melvin Odoom as the campmate she’d most like to see make it to the final.
The reporter portrayed Melvin as rather low-key, yet he’s a diligent individual who puts in a significant amount of effort within his work environment.
She also mentioned that he’s both kind-hearted and considerate, and she aspires for the audience to recognize his qualities sufficiently to help him advance to the finals.
As a dedicated follower, I found myself caught in a heated debate concerning ‘ageism’ and ‘sexism’ within the jungle camp, following my assignment to handle the washing-up chores. I perceived Barry McGuigan, the ex-boxing champion, and Danny Jones, the leader of McFly, as ageist and sexist, as they supposedly gave me this task because I was an older woman.
As she left, she shared with hosts Ant and Dec: “Before this, I held three jobs, working tirelessly. To my dismay, they even assigned me dish-washing duties. Needless to say, I wasn’t thrilled about that. I put in a lot of effort down there, but it seems the hard work didn’t translate into success since I was the first one eliminated. It’s unfortunate that people often overlook diligence.
She cautioned the remaining campers by saying, “As more people are eliminated, it will become clearer who isn’t contributing significantly.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I find myself rooting for the unsung heroes who work diligently behind the scenes. In this competition, there are quite a few performers, but what truly captivates me is the understated charm of those like Coleen [Rooney] or Melvin [Odoom]. They may not be flashy, but their quiet determination and hard work make them my top picks to win.
Regarding her time spent in the jungle, she shared: “I’ve experienced it firsthand, and it was an incredibly strange yet enchanting adventure. People often claim it’s the best experience you’ll ever have, but I must admit, the relentless rain made it less than ideal. I can honestly say I’ve never been so drenched in my entire life; it seemed like I was constantly wet.
‘I won’t be doing dishes anymore – that’s a relief! I had a great time learning about others and asking questions. We’re looking out for one another here.’
It was also enjoyable for them to learn more about me, since I am a journalist, their initial reaction was something like, “Let’s see, what kind of experience is this going to be?
Many of them confided in me that they had conversations about topics they hadn’t discussed in years, and they felt improved as a result.
Jane was warmly welcomed on the I’m A Celebrity bridge by her two daughters, Ellie (age 32) and Grace (age 22), who are her children from a 22-year marriage with Gary Farrow.
