I’m already hooked on Tom Hardy’s MobLand and it’s amazing that people are talking about a third season before the second one even starts! The show is a total thrill – Hardy plays this guy, Harry Da Souza, who’s basically trying to stop a massive war from breaking out between two powerful London crime families, the Harrigans and the Stevensons. It’s seriously gripping stuff.
Last week, The Sun reported that a third season of MobLand is being planned, but this hasn’t been officially announced.
Digital Spy has reached out to Paramount+ for comment.

Season two has definitely been filmed, and Tom Hardy will return with Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren.
The show features a talented cast including Paddy Considine, Emmett J. Scanlan, Joanne Froggatt, Janet McTeer, Lara Pulver, and Toby Jones.

Ronan Bennett wrote the series, and Guy Ritchie directed the first two episodes while also serving as a producer.
In March, Scanlan, who plays Paul O’Donnell – the Harrigans’ tough guy – announced that filming for the second season was finished.
In a video posted to Instagram, the actor called shooting the season an “extraordinary experience.”
Scanlan also teased what fans can expect from season two in February, during a chat with Hello!.
He explained that if you enjoyed the first season, written brilliantly by Jez Butterworth, you’ll find the second season even more intense and impactful.
Honestly, this season is wild! I was completely hooked on season one – I devoured the story and just lost myself in that world. But I think season two is even better. The writing is just phenomenal, the scripts are top-notch.
When Mobland premiered on Paramount+ in March 2025, it quickly became the streaming service’s most successful global series launch, attracting 2.2 million viewers for its first episode.

Paramount announced the drama would return for a second season and revealed it has already attracted 26 million viewers, making it the second most popular original series on their streaming service.
According to Chris McCarthy, co-CEO of Paramount and President of Showtime/MTV Entertainment, MobLand is a huge success, attracting over 26 million viewers and continuing to grow. He credits the show’s creative team – Guy, Jez, Ronan, and David C Glasser – and the strong performances from stars Tom, Pierce, and Helen for its popularity.
We’re thrilled to announce a second season of this hugely popular show, which has been a massive hit around the world and reached number one in the UK.
MobLand streams on Paramount+, a release date for season 2 has not yet been confirmed.
