As an ardent fan who has followed the lives of these extraordinary individuals for what seems like a lifetime, I am deeply moved by the outpouring of love and support that has been shown towards Liam Payne following his tragic demise. The bond shared among artists is often unparalleled, and the grief felt by his bandmates, friends, and fans worldwide is palpable.

It appears that Robbie Williams and Nicole Scherzinger attempted to express their condolences to Liam Payne’s family, as they were not able to attend the funeral of the One Direction member.

On Wednesday, there was an emotional farewell service for the singer who passed away last month, following a tragic fall from a balcony on the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina’s capital city.

A multitude of stars were present at Liam’s funeral, among them being his bandmates from One Direction: Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan; notable figures such as Simon Cowell, James Corden; and his former partner, Cheryl.

According to The Sun, neither Robbie nor Nicole could attend the service, but they both contacted Liam’s family and delivered flowers as a gesture of sympathy.

After hearing about Liam’s passing on October 16, Robbie joined numerous celebrities expressing their condolences via social media.

In a heartfelt post on Instagram, he expressed: “You filled those who really understood you with so much happiness, radiance, and merriment. I’ll deeply miss you, my friend, and keep you close to me in memory. My thoughts and sympathies are extended to your loved ones.

Nicole similarly posted on social platforms about her recent encounters with Liam, expressing: “Dearest Liam, the moments we’ve shared throughout our history, starting when One Direction began 15 years ago, and continuing till just a couple of weeks before your passing, I will forever hold dear and value.

Before the funeral commenced, numerous locals and admirers gathered to bid farewell to Payne, who passed away on October 16 following a fall from a third-floor balcony at a hotel in Buenos Aires, the Argentine capital.

People across the globe paid tribute to him posthumously with memorial gatherings, while a monument dedicated to the deceased celebrity emerged in his birthplace, Wolverhampton.

He died of multiple traumas and ‘internal and external haemorrhage’ after falling from a hotel third-floor balcony, a post-mortem examination report said.

After Payne passed away, his fellow members from One Direction expressed deep sorrow, stating that they would sorely miss their bandmate and friend.

They expressed that they would share more information later, as they needed some time to mourn and reflect on the passing of our cherished sibling.

‘The memories we shared with him will be treasured forever’, they added.

Tomlinson, Styles and Malik all later released separate tributes.

Styles wrote on Instagram that he was ‘truly devastated’ and will ‘miss him always’.

His utmost delight lay in bringing happiness to others, and it was a privilege to stand by his side, witnessing this act of kindness.

‘Liam lived wide open, with his heart on his sleeve, he had an energy for life that was infectious.

He was kind, nurturing, and immeasurably affectionate. The time we shared will be enshrined as some of the most valued periods in my existence. I will eternally yearn for him, my dear companion.

I’m deeply saddened for Karen, Geoff, Nicola, Ruth, their son Bear, and everyone else worldwide who were connected to him, just as I was.

In a heartfelt speech apart from his usual remarks, Tomlinson expressed difficulty in accepting the notion of parting ways.

He posted a picture on his Instagram page of the two of them on stage with Payne lovingly putting his arm over Tomlinson’s shoulder.

Malik said he had been talking out loud to Payne ‘hoping you can hear me’.

In his own heart wrenching tribute, he said he had ‘lost a brother when you left us’.

He penned, “I can’t express the value of being able to embrace you once more, bid you farewell appropriately, and express my love and deep respect for you one last time.

‘I will cherish all the memories I have with you in my heart forever. There is no words that justify or explain how I feel right now other than beyond devastated. I hope that wherever you are right now you are good and are at peace and you know how loved you are. Love you bro.’
