Stevie Nicks admits Fleetwood Mac would have been ‘done’ if she didn’t have abortion

When inquired about where she discovered the strength to address the issue, Nicks admitted that if given a choice, she would have maintained silence and clarified: “Actually, I didn’t disclose it publicly – it was Don Henley who made it public.

‘Don was the first guy I actually went out with after Lindsey [Buckingham] and I broke up. When this pregnancy happened, it was like, “What the heck happened? I am completely respectful of the world rules here, and all of a sudden this happens to me and I can’t figure it out.”
According to Nick’s account, they visit their gynecologist, who informs them, “You’ve been safeguarded by your Copper-7 IUD, but it seems your uterus is tipped, which means the IUD has only been offering partial protection for you. We were previously unaware of this fact.
She went on to explain how she came to the decision that an abortion was the right option for her, as Fleetwood Mac were riding high after the release of their 1977 album Rumours.
In my case, I find myself at a crossroads, pondering my next steps. It’s clear that motherhood through traditional means isn’t an option for me. I’m not the type who would delegate the care of my child to a nanny, even if given a billion chances, so to speak.
As a lifestyle expert, let me put it this way: Embarking on a global tour with an infant isn’t something I would willingly subject my little one to. Nine months might be the time it takes to carry a baby, but I believe a couple of years are necessary for a more comfortable and balanced journey. Such an extended break could potentially disrupt the band dynamics, definitively.
