As a fervent fan of Azealia Banks, I can’t help but admire her unapologetic spirit and her fearless stance on issues that matter to her. Her life experiences have shaped her into an outspoken figure who isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo, and this is one of those moments where she shines brightest.

The American rapper, Azealia Banks, has publicly endorsed the strong words spoken by Senator Lidia Thorpe towards King Charles III, which made headlines recently.

In the Parliament House at Canberra, the King concluded his speech on Monday, immediately followed by Ms Thorpe shouting insults at the king from the audience.

A contentious hip-hop artist has commended the senator’s deeds, suggesting forcefully that every white resident of Australia should leave the nation.

The 212 hitmaker wrote on her platform, previously known as Twitter, “She ripped [it],” referring to a video clip she posted of Ms. Thorpe’s angry outburst.

‘Like literally… what the f**k are white people in Australia doing there?’

Azealia continued, revealing that she supported the deportation of white people out of the country.

‘I fully support mass deportation back to the UK for all white people in Australia,’ she wrote.

Additionally, all their properties, bank accounts, and assets would be confiscated and they would be required to return home penniless.

After that, Azealia continued her criticism, this time aimed at the royal family, asserting that they hold no right to be involved in Australian affairs.

In a less aggressive tone, the sentence could be rephrased as: ‘The UK and the Queen are required to return her grandchildren from abroad.’ The original statement was colorful and informal, while this version is more polite and professional in its choice of words.

Allow Scotland and Ireland to achieve self-rule, enabling them to establish boundaries and manage their own immigration issues without encountering an Australian migrant predicament, thus facilitating a peaceful departure from Australia.

Azealia made her comments following Senator Lidia Thorpe, a well-known Indigenous activist who has a history of dramatic actions during significant political gatherings, shouting “Fight the colonization” and “You are not my king” at Parliament House in Canberra on Monday.

Senator Thorpe demanded the return of what was taken from us: our remains, our artifacts, our community, and you damaged our homeland,” stated Senator Thorpe.

We’re insisting on a treaty here, a treaty is what we seek! This territory doesn’t belong to you, it doesn’t belong to you! You’re not our ruler, you’re not our ruler. You’re accused of genocide!

As she was dragged away from the scene, she was heard yelling: ‘F*** the colony, f*** the colony.’

The response on social media to the controversial senator’s outburst was swift and brutal.

Prior to Senator Thorpe’s actions in Parliament, there was an unusual incident involving him and the police several hours beforehand.

When a handful of demonstrators near the Australian War Memorial were instructed to disperse by the authorities, there was an instance where Ms Thorpe appeared to be engaging in a heated discussion with a police officer who grabbed her blouse.

She then pulled her shirt off and stormed away from the officer.

She stated, following the dispute, “All the hardships our country experiences are due to the impact of colonization.

Previously serving as an independent senator for Victoria after having been a Green senator and subsequently parting ways with their party, Ms. Thorpe is well-known for expressing her views on the monarchy quite openly.

Previously, she joined delegates from 11 other nations in penning a missive advocating an apology from King Charles over the repercussions of colonialism.

Azealia Banks hasn’t had her first negative encounter with Australia. In fact, she declared in 2022 that she would avoid returning to Australia altogether, following an incident where she described a Brisbane show as the most racially prejudiced and degrading experience of her life.

‘I’m so sorry you guys – actually I’m not sorry – but listen: last time I was in Brisbane and y’all threw s*** on the stage and damn near almost f***ing hit me in the face with a f***ing bottle of soda or whatever that s*** was,’ she wrote on Instagram.

“Being quite distant from my home, I find it unwise to expose myself to potentially hostile crowds, especially if they’re predominantly white and have shown disrespectful behavior in the past. Apologies are not on my agenda.

‘I am not sorry at all.’

The incident brought to an end a disastrous tour for the rapper, after planned gigs in Melbourne and Sydney were postponed due to ‘visa issues’.

Back in 2013, I encountered an unfortunate incident where Australian audience members hurled objects at me during a performance. Later, I found myself characterizing the Australian crowd as “aggressive” and “rowdy”.

It seems that Azealia initially hesitated to perform in Brisbane during the 2022 tour, only agreeing when security enhancements were promised. However, she later withdrew from the performance, stating that her demands had not been addressed.
