Psychological Thriller ‘The Exit 8’ Finally Secures U.S. Release Date

Neon has announced that Exit 8 is headed to theaters nationwide on Apr. 10, 2026, following its release in Japan last August. ​Directed by Genki Kawarmura (A Hundred Flowers), the film follows a man who gets stuck in an endless, sterile subway passageway, where overseeing the smallest of anomalies could take him back to the very beginning. The thrilling, horrifying experience is based on the indie video game of the same name, which had players try to escape a similar circumstance.
