Game of Thrones characters as Minions, the video
As a gamer with a diverse taste in media, I must say that the fusion of “Game of Thrones” and “Minions” has caught my attention like never before. While I may not have delved into the world of Minions through their movies, the concept of these tiny, comical creatures getting entangled in the complex politics and drama of Westeros is a sight to behold.
The television series known as “Game of Thrones” is an epic fantasy that spanned eight seasons on HBO, featuring complex adult characters who will stop at nothing – including deceit and murder – to gain power. Notably, it includes dragons in its storyline. On the other hand, Minions are small, yellow beings originally from the “Despicable Me” series who served the villain Gru. They communicate in a nonsensical language and often engage in slapstick humor reminiscent of the Three Stooges.
Although Game of Thrones and Minions may appear unrelated at first glance, as they indeed are, a creative mind like Pablo Prompt on Twitter/X has ingeniously blended these two worlds together. Now, viewers can enjoy an intriguing fusion:
Game of Bananas 🍌👑

I’ll openly confess: I haven’t watched any “Despicable Me” or “Minions” films, but even without seeing them, I’m familiar with the recurring theme of their chants for “banana” and other similar words. Yet, the delight in watching characters like Cersei, Arya, Tyrion, Jon, Daenerys, and more being transformed into cute, bumbling figures is universal. The best part? The Minion portrayal of Joffrey choking on poisoned wine, a perfect blend of gruesome and cute. Another noteworthy moment is Minion Viserys enduring molten gold being poured over his head. I’m certain there’s even a Funko Pop figure of Minion Drogon somewhere out there.
1) What’s the reason behind Minion Tyrion sporting a golden mechanical limb? That detail remains unclear, though it could very well be due to Pablo Prompt employing AI technology to produce those mini videos. While AI stirs up debates, consider this: it’s Hodor acting as a Minion character. I believe we’re good.
The fourth movie from the “Despicable Me” series with Minions was released earlier this year, and it made a lot of money at the box office as expected. On the other hand, although “Game of Thrones” has ended, the franchise lives on through shows like “House of the Dragon.” Maybe these two series will collaborate again in the future.
