Heartbroken Jessika Power arrives back in Brisbane following the death of her father and public backlash around a GoFundMe to help pay for the funeral
As a seasoned observer of the human condition and social media dynamics, I find myself deeply moved by this heart-wrenching story. Losing a loved one is never easy, and my heart goes out to Jessika and her family during this difficult time.
TV personality Jessika Power, known for Married At First Sight, returned to Brisbane after the heartbreaking passing of her father.
Jessika, aged 32, who had recently been residing in Perth, appeared visibly saddened as she strolled unaccompanied through the terminal building.
Without makeup, the creator of Only Fans wore a relaxed outfit consisting of a long-sleeved grey top that subtly revealed her midriff, a simple white sweater, and white track pants to match.
She completed her travel outfit by adding a pair of stylish black-and-white sneakers, along with some discreet gold neck jewelry.
She carried a Louis Vuitton handbag and a matching, larger LV carry-on bag.
As a self-professed overpacker, I found myself maneuvering through the bustling airport terminal with two bulky suitcases in tow.
A joyful reunification took place, as Jessika’s face lit up widely when she warmly embraced an old friend who arrived to greet her at the airport.
Recently, Jessika faced criticism from fans following a request made by her family for financial contributions towards covering the expenses of her father’s funeral.
In August, she shared a poignant message on Instagram Stories to disclose the sad news about her father passing away, expressing her feelings emotionally.
She shared an Instagram picture where she was snuggled up on her dad’s lap, giving him a heartfelt hug while smiling affectionately at him.
It doesn’t seem like it could be true. I love you so much, Dad. I hope you’re enjoying a drink with your friends in heaven while keeping an eye on us, knowing that we miss you dearly.
Instead of setting up the sentence this way: “Her brother Rhyce Power, who was momentarily present on MAFS, subsequently shared on his personal Instagram account that a GoFundMe campaign has been established to help cover the funeral expenses.
In response to Jessika’s latest Instagram posts depicting her enjoying parties in Cannes, France during July, some individuals expressed disapproval, with a few Internet critics leaving negative comments.
It’s been noted by many that both Jessika and her brother seem to earn a good income through the adult-oriented platform, OnlyFans.
‘Sorry for your loss, but at what point do you and your brother think it’s okay to promote a GoFundMe when there are people who literally have no homes or food to eat and you two always brag about the money you make?’ one person wrote.
They said, “That doesn’t seem logical at all. If it were my father, I’d instantly hand over every cent I have on me, particularly with a bag as impressive as yours.
One more wrote: ‘Sorry to hear about your dad’s passing but WTF why are you asking the public for money when you splurge your opulence all over social media plus your brother does OnlyFans too? Revolting.’
Jessika shared with Daily Mail Australia that her entire family was joining forces for the fundraising effort.
Jessica mentioned that the GoFundMe campaign has been set up to cover her father’s funeral expenses since he unexpectedly passed away during the night. Although the family is contributing, funerals can still be expensive, particularly in such a sudden situation.
It seems my sister’s fiance set up the page prior to me finding out, suggesting there may have been additional funds given to him for creating it.
