A League of Their Own reunion! Madonna and Geena Davis leave fans in ‘tears’ as they pay homage to their iconic 1992 film at Coachella

Madonna and Geena Davis recently reunited at the Coachella music festival, marking the first time they’ve been together since filming ‘A League of Their Own’ 34 years ago.

Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe what happened at the Sabrina Carpenter concert! First, Sir Paul McCartney just appeared on stage – I almost fainted! Then, right after, Harrison Ford showed up! Can you even imagine?! And get this – they didn’t just make separate appearances, they actually met backstage! I’m still losing my mind thinking about it – Paul and Harrison supporting Sabrina?! It was a legendary night!

Davis posted a photo of the famous scene on Instagram and paid tribute to their well-known movie in the accompanying caption.

She signed the message ‘Mae – so happy to see you again! Love, Dottie,’ playfully connecting her character, Dorothy ‘Dottie’ Hinson, with Madonna’s character, Mae Mordabito.

‘OMG!! Dottie & Mae!! I Love this!!,’ one fan wrote.

‘There’s no crying in baseball but we’re crying at this photo,’ another added.

‘THERE’S NO AGING IN BASEBALL! Both look gorgeous.’

‘I’m not crying. You’re crying. And there’s no crying in baseball.’

‘I’m in tears,’ another added.

Madonna looked stylish in a pink bustier dress and sunglasses for the snap.

Meanwhile Davis rocked a brown button-up shirt and blue jeans.

The movie A League of Their Own, featuring Rosie O’Donnell, Lori Petty, and Tom Hanks, tells the story of the real-life Rockford Peaches, a team from the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League.

The movie was a big hit, earning $132.4 million despite costing only $40 million to make.

Madonna appeared on stage with Carpenter during her headlining set at Coachella this weekend, but some viewers have criticized her performance, alleging she wasn’t singing live.

People online are calling Madonna a ‘fraud’ after she appeared to lip-sync while performing with a younger singer, Carpenter. Videos show Madonna moving around on stage in a purple corset and shorts, and fans believe she wasn’t actually singing. This comes before the release of her new album, ‘Confessions II,’ which is scheduled to come out on July 3rd.

One upset fan reminded everyone of a famous incident from 2004 when Elton John publicly criticized Madonna, claiming she was pretending to sing live.

‘Elton John said it best about Madonna and her lip syncing fraud,’ the fan wrote on X.

The famous singer appeared near the end of Carpenter’s performance, marking her return to Coachella after a memorable and successful show there in 2006, two decades prior.

Madonna surprised the audience by rising from under the stage to perform parts of her classic songs, “Vogue” (1990) and “Like a Prayer” (1989).

Walking further onto the stage, closer to the audience, Madonna said, ‘Wow, thank you… Sabrina, I really appreciate you having me on your show.’

‘No thanks needed, Madonna,’ Carpenter replied as they held hands.

‘Well, I have a few things I want to get off my chest,’ the Express Yourself hitmaker went on.

Today marks 20 years since I played at Coachella! I remember performing the first part of ‘Confessions on a Dance Floor’ in the dance tent – it was my very first time doing it in America, and it felt amazing. Being back here now feels incredibly special and like everything has come full circle.

Madonna encouraged the audience to unite and put aside their differences, emphasizing that music has the power to connect people.

Davis unexpectedly joined Carpenter on stage during his main performance. She appeared remarkably youthful and performed a long speech as an older version of the singer, all while seated in a classic car.

Many fans were thrilled to see Davis make a surprise appearance, especially because Susan Sarandon, her co-star from ‘Thelma & Louise,’ had performed the same part when Carpenter first took the stage at Coachella.
