Eurovision is still a major live television event, but because it takes over the airwaves, viewers will need to find other options to watch their usual programs.

Created in 1974 by Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson, Dungeons & Dragons has become a cornerstone of the fantasy genre’s culture. Starting as a tabletop role-playing game, it has since grown to include online versions and inspired a vast amount of related content, such as novels, films, and animated series.

The band is finally releasing a new album, Cursum Perficio, on September 18th. The name comes from an inscription found at Marilyn Monroe’s final home. But don’t expect anything like a ballad – this is still Anthrax, so it’ll be their signature sound!

Harriet Dyer plays Colette, a driving examiner who genuinely wants to brighten people’s days. However, she struggles to set limits with test-takers who don’t appreciate her efforts, and with her colleagues, including a new coworker named Noa (Alex Tarrant), towards whom she’s starting to develop feelings.

As a critic, I’m watching Daredevil: Born Again carry a lot of weight for Marvel’s plan to reconnect with its Netflix roots. Initially, it seemed like just Charlie Cox as Daredevil and Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin were coming back, but now it’s become clear they’re bringing in a whole host of familiar faces – heroes, villains, and supporting characters – from that earlier run of Marvel shows. It’s a much bigger reunion than we first thought, and it’s exciting to see those actors getting another chance in the MCU.

James Cameron is a hugely successful science fiction director known for blockbuster hits. Since the mid-1980s, his films have generally received very positive reviews. While movies like Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Aliens, Titanic, and Avatar are considered some of the most important films in their genres, a recent concert film has now overtaken them in a key ranking on Rotten Tomatoes.

As a huge cinema fan, I’ve seen this story done so many times since then. Lots of movies and shows – like The Maze Runner series – have basically used the same idea with twists we’ve all seen before. Honestly, most of them didn’t really do anything new with the genre. But Netflix’s Alice in Borderland? That one really stood out to me – it felt genuinely different.

I’m really excited about the new version of the show! They’ve cast Himesh Patel as one of the leads, which is fantastic. It’s a little sad that Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny aren’t involved this time around, but the producers have just announced a bunch of really well-known actors are joining the cast, and that’s making me even more hopeful for how it will turn out.

Simon Barrett, the writer of both the recent Mortal Kombat II and an early draft of Fantastic Four, recently discussed his experience working on the superhero film. He fondly remembered collaborating with director Josh Trank on the screenplay and admitted he was unaware of any issues during production, as he wasn’t on set. Barrett was surprised to see how much his script had been altered when the film finally came out, and before seeing the finished product, he genuinely believed the reboot would be a hit.

Even if Jason Statham wasn’t suited to be the next James Bond, one of his existing film series is already giving audiences the kind of spy action they’ve been missing. People are eager for thrilling espionage again, and Statham’s movies deliver – they’re packed with exciting, large-scale action that’s comparable to the Bond films fans love.
