To finally defeat Batman, Scarecrow has teamed up with the enigmatic Arkham Knight and Gotham’s criminals. Released in 2015 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, Batman: Arkham Knight was well-received by critics and won numerous awards. Many fans consider it a satisfying end to the Batman: Arkham series, and developer Rocksteady regained popularity, particularly after releasing additional downloadable content featuring new missions, character skins, challenges, race tracks, and Batmobile customizations.

André Øvredal, the director of Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, recently told /Film he’s still eager to make a sequel. However, securing the rights to continue the story has been difficult for the past seven years.
