As a longtime fan of Lady Gaga, I find myself utterly captivated by her latest venture into the world of cinema. Having followed her career since her early days as a pop sensation, I’ve come to appreciate not only her musical prowess but also her fearless willingness to experiment and evolve.

On Wednesday, a video was posted on Instagram by Lady Gaga hinting at her forthcoming rock n’ roll song titled “The Joker,” where she showcased herself embodying the role of Harley Quinn.

In a recent scene from a video, the artist behind the popular song “Poker Face,” aged 38 and lately spotted sharing a kiss with her partner Michael Polansky at the U.K. premiere of Joker: Folie à Deux, was captured inside an empty Louvre Museum in Paris.

The celebrity revealed a brief part of the tune from her forthcoming film soundtrack, Harlequin, set to be released on Friday, September 27.

Initially, in the opening scene, Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (known as Lady Gaga) donned a short, fiery red wig and a dress featuring a blue and white pattern.

She finished off her outfit by putting on a pair of polka-dotted tights along with black and white Converse shoes.

The singer stood near the edge of a balcony outside as she gazed at the Louvre which was lit up at night.

As she sauntered off, it was Lady Gaga, playing the part of Harley Quinn (Harleen Lee Quinzel) in the upcoming sequel, who crooned, “In every deck, there’s a jester, and every crowd has its loner, its sad clown.

In the narrative, I found myself standing before a dimly illuminated museum, where a captivating performer was gracefully dancing. As I followed her movement, she descended a series of concrete steps, echoing the iconic stair dance from Joaquin Phoenix’s role in Joker (2019).

She moved along a lengthy, dimly lit corridor, enclosed by diverse artwork, with the music of a song still resonating strongly from somewhere behind her.

‘A jester who’s down on his luck finds humor in his misfortune, causing others to chuckle; it seems there’s always an unintentional comic figure in any scenario.’

After leaving the previous room, the actress from A Star Is Born entered another vacant space within the Louvre. Upon laying eyes on a particular work of art, a gentle smile appeared on her lips.

‘And everyone laughs at him just the same. They don’t see his lonely heartbreak,’ she continued to sing.

Lady Gaga angled her head slightly and leisurely approached the renowned Mona Lisa artwork by Leonardo da Vinci.

The star flashed a bigger grin and waved – but her smile faded as she looked into the eyes of the Mona Lisa

In my enthusiasm, I carefully extracted a tube of vibrant red lipstick, mimicking the infamous Joker’s smile onto the protective covering before the Mona Lisa, attempting to bestow upon her a grin reminiscent of his own.

‘They don’t care as long as there is a jester, just a fool. As foolish as he can be. There’s always a joker, that’s the rule! But fate deals the hand that I see. The joker is me,’ the lyrics in the teaser also included.

As a die-hard enthusiast, I couldn’t help but follow Lady Gaga as she stepped back, stealing one final glimpse at the breathtaking art. To my utter delight, I noticed the Harley Quinn makeup adorning her visage, a sight that left me absolutely thrilled!

As she finished dancing, she raised her arms high towards the sky, exiting the deserted Louvre Museum through its doors, with the film’s conclusion playing out.

To sum up, it’s been made clear that an exhibition titled “Figures of the Fool” is set to start at the Louvre museum starting October 16th, exactly one month from now.

As stated on their official site, the museum plans to host a unique exhibition focusing on various characters of the jester, which significantly appeared in artwork from the 13th to the 16th centuries.

In the caption of the post, the performer wrote to her followers, ‘There’s always a Joker. #FiguresDuFou #Louvre #JokerMovie.’

Immediately following the celebrity posting that video, I couldn’t help but join the chorus of opinions swirling around about their upcoming track on social media.

Some took to X (formerly known as Twitter), with one penning, ‘we are so ready omg.’

Another typed out, ‘THIS IS A CLASSIC ALREADY,’ while one fan shared, ‘everyone’s mood listening to the album,’ along with a behind-the-scenes photo of Lady Gaga on set of the Joker sequel.

One wrote, ‘It’s nice, it’s different, it’s unusual,’ while another added, ‘THIS SOUNDS SO GOOD HELLO??’

The teaser clip also comes before Joker: Folie à Deux hits theaters later next week on October 4.

Before the movie hits theaters, Lady Gaga is set to release her album called “Harlequin” on September 27th. This album will feature the song “The Joker”.

On Tuesday this past week, she posted the album cover image on her primary Instagram account and announced its upcoming release date.

Inside a shower, with water cascading upon her, she was noticeable while wearing a red, buoyant life jacket. Tears of makeup trickled down her right cheek as she fixed her gaze on the camera.

Last week, Lady Gaga began teasing track names – such as Still Not October – while also sharing short snippets of other songs on the upcoming album.

And on Wednesday, the actress turned heads as she attended the London premiere of the film.

She was with her future husband Michael Polansky, and during the event, they were spotted exchanging a tender kiss on the red carpet.

Lady Gaga turned heads by donning a striking, floor-length red gown that hugged her figure. On top, she wore a short jacket adorned with voluminous, dramatic sleeves.

For the screening, the performer chose a makeup style inspired by Harley Quinn, and her shoulder-length, dark, reddish hair cascaded almost to its ends.

On September 4th this month, the sequel made its debut at the 81st Venice International Film Festival.

Before its formal launch on October 4th, the psychological musical thriller is presently rated at 63% on Rotten Tomatoes.

In the Todd Phillips-directed movie, it’s been announced that Lady Gaga will take on the role of Harley Quinn, while Joaquin Phoenix will once again portray the Joker.

In this production, we also have Zazie Beetz, Catherine Keener, Brendan Gleeson, Harry Lawtey, and Steve Coogan joining the cast.
