Tia Mowry clarifies THOSE remarks about her and twin sister Tamera no longer being ‘close’

Tia resides in Los Angeles, but Tamera along with her spouse Adam Housley and their two children now call Napa, California home.
Tia clarified her point by saying, “What I was implying is that eventually, as we mature, we establish our own families, and it’s natural for the next generation to rely on us.
In the course of my journey, I’ve found myself assuming fresh duties and identities. That’s essentially what life has been leading me towards.
She continued: ‘In these transitions in life, sometimes you just want a hug and you just want someone to be as accessible as they used to be, and that is not the case. It’s called life.’
Tia stressed how much she ‘loves’ her sister and their ‘beautiful bond.’
My sister and I share an incredibly strong bond. There’s a deep emotional connection between us, one that is truly special. We both hold each other in high regard. That’s simply the nature of our relationship. It’s something that’s common among many families, as life often shapes relationships in unique ways.
Regarding their response to the reactions to her comments, Tia acknowledged it wasn’t shocking for them and admitted that such situations often involve being misunderstood or misrepresented.
After spending more than three decades in this field, misunderstandings often arise, and I’ve learned to accept that as the reality of the situation.
She stated, “I can focus on managing my actions and striving to be the best version of myself, and that’s essentially what we’re doing.
“Throughout our lives, we’ve always been remarkable and inspiring role models. Therefore, it seems unnecessary to alter that quality now.
Her initial remarks were made in the latest teaser trailer for her forthcoming reality TV series My Next Act, which delves into her post-divorce struggle after leaving ex-husband Cory Hardrict.
Following the handover of Cairo, her six-year-old girl, to spend time with her father, she started sobbing uncontrollably.
In an interview, she revealed that being on her own has been the hardest aspect of going through her divorce.
In moments like these, I long for the days when my sister and I shared a strong bond, and I could simply reach out to her with a phone call. Unfortunately, our relationship isn’t in that place at the moment.
In the video, the well-known actress, who became popular in the late 90s with her co-star Tamera on the TV show Sister Sister, didn’t clarify the reasons behind the rift that developed between her and her twin sister.
In another part of the preview for her upcoming show on We TV, airing October 4, Tia discussed her and ex-husband Cory’s initial encounter on a red carpet following their divorce.
At the Essence Black Women In Hollywood Awards held last March, they found themselves unexpectedly meeting each other head-on.
The video captured at the scene demonstrates a momentary pause, as it was unclear if the ex-spouses should embrace or offer a handshake.
Tia, who has a 13-year-old son named Cree with her former partner, found the situation quite draining and referred to it as ‘taxing’ or ‘tiring’.
