Assassin's Creed Invictus Could Be a 'Fall Guys' Inspired Multiplayer Game According to Leak

As a seasoned Assassin’s Creed fan with countless hours spent lurking in the shadows and scaling towering edifices, the prospect of a multiplayer Assassin’s Creed game that resembles Fall Guys is, frankly, a peculiar one. I can almost hear the cries of “Eagle Sense!” echoing through colorful arenas rather than the hushed whispers of a crowded city square.

As a passionate gamer, I’ve just stumbled upon some intriguing rumors about the upcoming Assassin’s Creed game, Invictus. Apparently, this could be a multiplayer title inspired by Fall Guys, where players engage in a series of rounds, battling it out as their favorite Assassin’s Creed characters! Frankly, it seems quite an unusual concept to me.

In a recent tweet, the reliable Assassin’s Creed leaker xj0nathan hinted at a game resembling ‘Fall Guys’, featuring 16 players (for now) competing in multiple rounds of various games. The leak suggests that team deathmatch and an individual mode where players chase luminous points scattered across the map will be among the available modes.

In other words, if you make it to the next level, you’ll have the opportunity to pick different kinds of abilities to construct your character for the final match, as xj0nathan explains. Notably, Ezio and Cesare Borgia are already confirmed characters, and the gameplay will have a more arcade feel, similar to Smash Bros., with bubble shields being one of the various power-ups you might get during play.

It’s also been speculated that the camera will be positioned a distance away from the character, giving them a diminutive appearance, and the game maps will include sections of Mirage’s Baghdad, Shadows’ Japan, a Black Flag tropical island, and a Pompeii map with increasing lava. However, it’s essential to note that this is merely speculation at this point, as nothing has been officially confirmed. Still, xj0nathan has shown an impressive track record in previous Assassin’s Creed leaks.

While there’s a chance that Assassin’s Creed Invictus might not exist as we understand it, it appears to be a real project, though details are scant at the moment. Moving on, the next installment in the series is Assassin’s Creed Shadows, set to launch for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC on November 15th.

To avenge my Slapp, here are some details about Assassin’s Creed Invictus, the multiplayer game expected to release next year:
